is the campaign WAY off with its new letter?

I agree that we made an error on the 16th. It's a good theme to it, but it is pretty late in comparison to Iowa and New Hampshire. If we had the huge money bomb originally planned for the 16th take place around the end of November or the very beginning of December, it would create even more buzz earlier on, and we would have more time to place and run the ads.

I think we need to do some serious thinking and discussion on this and we need to do it pretty damn fast.

Trevor, hope you are out there listening.

Don't mess with the TeaParty. It is set. It is a good idea. But we can't have ALL of our attention on it. We need to send in some money now even if it diminishes the TeaParty a little bit. And it doesn't hurt if we show up the Huckster, too.

You can't budget your family around twice annual drops of money you hope may come. You can't budget a campaign that way either.

I donated today. I'll donate on the TeaParty day as well.

Huckabee's money bomb MAY raise as much in a day as the November 5th money bomb raised in two hours. It MAY raise as much as the November 11th money bomb raised in a day less than a week after the $4+ million day.

I cannot imagine how the campaign could ever have too much money. The more money it has now, the more money it can take into the general election. Ron Paul will be up against the likes of Hillary and Obama.

Don't worry!

This is an official beat Huckabee Day. This was supposed to be a big push for Huckabee. National Child's Day or some PC bunk like that, and if you notice Ron Paul is beating the Huckster today.

The campaign always needs more money. There is no such thing in politics when you don't have enough money. In reality December 16th is a long ways away, and they can hit up people today and maybe 1 more time between now and the 16th. We can't just stop appealing to people to donate. We can always give people more opportunities, not less. I would think that it would be extrordinary if we had 10 Mil in the bank by Dec 16th, and then we raised another 10 Mil. That would be a showstopper type of event.

Every dollar we raise now will make the Dec 16th total more amazing.

I was going to give $500 for the money bomb, but I will compromise with the official campaign and the grass roots. I'll give $100 per payday until the end of December and $100 on the Tea Party. That will be $500 total.

That's the Spirit! Thank you!

its a smart move by the campaign to send an email out now - we will still raise 10 million on the 16th - its a long way off

Everyone : STAY FOCUSED on Dec 16th. It is so VITAL in this campaign that words can't describe it. I run a company with hundreds of people working for us all over the world, we have had thousands of media stories written about our company and our Live Gaming invention, I can tell you this I would never, EVER let a numbers guy get anywhere near my marketing or PR area. Neither would any of my other business CEO friends out of Los Angeles or Hollywood. Ever. It's a total disconnect. Finance guys just don't get PR. I'll put it bluntly; If Ron raises 10milllion on December 16th. I believe he will then have a real chance at the nomination. If he raises over 7 million I believe he'll have a slightly lower chance. IF THE EVENT didn't go ahead or if it bombed then I believe that it's over for Ron Paul.
The guy who wrote the letter needs to wake up to the reality of RP being asked to do interview after interview all over America in the run up to the first Primaries.
Anything else other than a full, frontal all out promotion of Dec 16th is madness.
So, let's regroup and focus in behind the team and move to 30,000 pledges and raise the 10m and make history.
Let's go get em..'
*U** YOU FRANK!
