So, that's why 64 foreign countries showed up at the St. Louis World's Fair in 1904 vying for our business?

Libertarianism means I can do what I want to do.
And that includes redefining it however I damn well please.
I'm sure you can say the same about "massive".
Then the huge amount of trade that we did in the 20th and 21st centuries, should have propelled us into the economic stratosphere.
"America is the first nation in history to go to the poorhouse in an automobile." -- Will Rogers during the Great Depression
We've been riding on the coattails of our previous success for many generations now.
And trading free trade for managed trade hasn't been as big a factor as things like an asinine regulatory regime, but it hasn't helped at all.
I can certainly agree that trade is a much smaller contributor to our country's success/failure than all the other things.
Tell it to Henry Ford, who made his fortune putting America on wheels clad with the sap of a tree that refuses to grow in the US.
his view on the drug war shows he is an authoritarian
Rand would be 1 million times better
What about Ron Paul's belief that the majority of the American people believe in freedom?Same here. I'm not aware of anything I've really disagreed with Massie about.
There are two things I have disagreed with Ron Paul about - the death penalty, and the AUMF for Afghanistan.
But he came around on both of those - so we're at 100%, too, now.

I have yet to find a reason to disagree with Thomas Massie.
We also weren't trading on a massive global scale during that time either.
You've basically proven my point for me

Can you provide more details on this? Everything I can find from googling says Rand is against e-verify.Not to mention his pathetic e-Verify that he was so proud of - and even posted signs [at tax payer expense] throughout the entire state bragging about it.
Ron DeSantis is gutter slime.I think I prefer DeSantis. But Rand Paul would be totally acceptable as well.
In 2016 a lot of people chose an orange bully because they were lead to believe he was actually going to lock up the pedophiles he was actually friends with. At least we don't have that as a problem in 2028.Yea cus that's worked out great for us so far!
