Is it ever dangerous to vote?

For example, were people who voted for the communist party before the McCarthy era ever placed in a bad position because of their vote? I know that people were being suspected as communists because of random college club roll call sheets from years back and stuff. Is polling data traditionally sacrosanct?

I am not trying to dissuade anyone to vote, or come across as a nut job, but I am curious about the precedence of such a thing. I think its a legitimate question, considering the position that libertarianism is in to be a potential bogeyman.

You mean since Jim Crow died?

Ask JFK. Oh, sorry--you can't, can you?

Two words: FEMA Camps.

But we're all on a list anyway, so don't let it stop you :)
