"Is Iran Even A Threat?" with Scott Horton on Russia Today

I do not believe them to be a current offensive threat . Are they a threat by supporting organizations that are ?

What organizations?
Threat to who?
They have not been an offensive threat to anyone in hundreds of years. They have been attacked however. Repeatedly.
They are very good at defense. (lots of practice)

It is true that they are experienced at defending themselves , it is also true they have not occupied anyone since the 1850"s that I can think of .

There's also this thing going around that Iran has executed thousands of gays in the last few years. There seems to be executions of people who happen to be gay, for instance the following, but thousands of people just because they're gay?

International controversy erupted after Iranian officials executed two gay teenagers who were originally reported to be convicted of homosexuality, however later reports released by the Iranian government after international furor claimed the conviction was for the rape of a 13-year-old boy.

I'm actually against the death penalty, but certainly wouldn't judge Iran for doing it when Americans are so much in favor of it.

America's prison system is much more viscous and unjust than anything in Iran.
