It took the Tehran Times a wee while to catch up with this. There was a story on CNN about it 'explaining' it was no big deal!!! Didn't mention the Iranian Oil Bourse ..funny that! When Saddam shifted his petro dollars from the US currency, the invasion took place within six months.

I was watching CSpan this morning and I guess it was a recording from Thursday where Gen. Hayden, Mueller, and I can't remember right now the other guys names, but they were saying how the terrorists are using the internet to recruit and plan cyber attacks.

After reading about this and hearing them talking about that, I don't doubt for a second that we cut the cables.

I think the cut cables are a message to Iran not to proceed with opening the oil bourse. If they push on to open it anyway then an attack from Israel will probably be sooner rather than later with the cover story that secret intelligence indicated Iran was secretly working on nukes. Failing that there will be another more serious "incident" in the Persian Gulf between Iran and the US.

So much for non-interventionism. Anyone that doesn't believe Dr. Paul's comments that we get attacked because our CIA is over there messing around should look into this further. We force Iran to take our crappy dollars that not even our citizens want for their oil and if they try to resist then we commit acts of war against them. We're willing to ruin their economy and kill their people if necessary to delay the collapse of our economy a bit longer.
