From what many (most?) have said here - this murder is not really an issue. It's been inflated by the media because this will cause discord in the US which is good for TPTB.

I have called BS on this. 1) this started as a grassroots issue and the conspiracy theory disregards all the people who brought this to the limelight and 2) the idea that discord is good for TPTB makes no sense at all. If you're a dictator you want your people not rioting, not at each others throats. You want them paying taxes and minding their business. That's how you make a ton of money.

Point Iran: If this event really benefits TPTB then why is Iran talking about it? By this theory Iran would be helping TPTB. Which is impossible because Iran and TPTB are on opposite sides.

"Justice" doesn't always mean "whoever got hurt is right".

You come into a private neighborhood / "gated community", you agree to follow its rules. When Neighborhood Watch stops you, you tell them: "My name is Trayvon, we're staying with so-and-so". That's it. "Have a nice day." Is that so hard?!

You come onto someone's property, act suspiciously, refuse to be identified, and then run like a thief (and that neighborhood has had plenty of recent incidents of theft) - you will be tracked. Get into fisticufs with the Neighborhood Watch volunteer, and s\he will use necessary force in self-defense. (And Zimmerman actually called for help and waited, while his skull was being bashed into the sidewalk, to avoid firing.)

Peacetards who don't understand the need for self-defense -- whether on individual, neighborhood, or (while nations still unfortunately exist) national level -- are no friends of liberty!

As for Iranian gov't - they have absolutely no credibility to criticize anyone. Here's a picture of Iran killing some young people - not in a desperate act of self-defense, but because of what they did in their bedroom!

Of course the answer is that it doesn't. The US government benefits from peace and prosperity and 100% employment back home. More tax dollars for them to waste.

Obama uses the USDK (Unfortunate Self-Defense Killing) of Trayvon to manipulate USA'ns into accepting his socialist agenda, empowering centralized gov't monopolies and disempowering the individual.

Iran uses the USDK of Trayvon to propagandize to their own "citizens", by trying to make their dump of a country look better in comparison, encouraging their "patriotism" and loyalty to the Iranian socialist state.

Not sure how I feel about the security camera aspect, but all for better NW training and less-lethal self defense. Zimmerman shouldn't have been patrolling by himself and he definitely shouldn't have gotten out of his car by himself. Forget whether or not that made him "guilty". It made him stupid. I said it before and I'll say it again. Had Trayvon been packing, even with a knife, Zimmerman would have been dead. Stupid. Just stupid.

Cameras are tyrannical in the hands of the government (or corporations controlled by the government, which is what makes them evil). In the hands of a private neighborhood, whose policies are established through voluntary agreement, security cameras are an essential tool.

You can't always have enough NW volunteers to patrol in pairs - people normally just going about their business should be able to act when they notice something. Getting out of his car was a perfectly valid choice for Zimmerman. The cops were saying "we don't need you to do that" to cover their butts from liability - Z was doing the right thing. He chose to take a personal risk to stop crime in his neighborhood.

You can't expect the police to do everything. In fact we already have way too much police (including militarized police, all manners of vice squads, regulatory enforcement thugs, etc). For all the money police waste on inefficiency and corruption, every home and neighborhood could be a castle! We need less police thugs and more individual empowerment, including self-defense and NW.
