Iowa PPP Poll 12/27: Paul 24%, Romney 20%, Gingrich 13%, Bachmann 11%

I know the guy who owns PPP and the guy who runs it. It really doesn't add up. Dean is a hard core libdem but he is very invested in his polling accuracy. Sorry guys, I know the people who run PPP personally. I'm not buying your theories.

Gunny: I'm not a guy, and I didn't propose a theory, it's just a "what if..."

DMR likely started their last poll on the 27. I'm interested in what they have to say.

Devil's Advocate: They wouldn't publish a falsified poll with Ron in the lead in order to induce the grassroots to slack off, would they?
So if Paul isn't in the lead the poll must be rigged and if Paul IS in the lead the poll must also be rigged?
Chillax , these guys seem very neutral with their reporting.

That is very good to hear GunnyFreedom. Not the part about them being libs or Dems, but that you don't think they would ever skew a poll for financial gain.

I'm really surprised how well Ron's favorability numbers have held up through the newsletter smears.

Paul: 53% favorable, 40% unfavorable, 7% unsure
Romney: 44% favorable, 47% unfavorable, 9% unsure
Gingrich: 37% favorable, 54% unfavorable, 9% unsure

lol. I guess we're a little paranoid after being an underdog for so long.

Romney destroying Paul among voters who watch Fox News...

What a dumbfq network.
ah ah ah
They are actually trying to reveal to us and the general public:
We-are-now-officially-irrilevant.

And:
"we are irrilevant in a repubs primary, which is theoretically our bread and water"

What a dumbfq parade of losing clowns.

With the way they are attacking Ron Paul right now and almost completely ignoring him in the debates, not to mention the very real voter fraud in NH in 2008. With all that and whole lot more going on, I don't think we are paranoid at all.

The elite are indeed against Ron Paul and will try every dirty trick, legal or not, to make sure he is not the next president.

No, posting the direct url to the gov websites is much more professional here, and makes more sense all around. Unless you personally own the url shortening service, your urls can be terminated at any time--as could the domain (as happened with url-go.com) and the poster would instantly become useless.

Don't change the urls.

Good. agree with this. Another way to go would be to make a page with links to these sites, if a good url existed. http://parocks.com/iowabig.jpg is 300dpi 8.5 x 11 - suitable for printing out. check this http://parocks.com/ronpaul/iowa.html - it shares pretty well on facebook

Again the women and folks over 65 are dragging us down...women got 19% versus men at 29%...folks over 65 only got us 12%....what's wrong with these people?

The old ones don't get on the internet too much and get most of their news from the lame stream media. The women probably don't care for Paul too much cause he doesn't look to them as good as the other candidates do. For those that are women here, sorry about that, but many women do vote for someone based on how they look. If a good looking woman was running she would also get votes from men based solely on that. So it goes both ways, I'm not trying to make women look bad here. :D

They knew what freedom was like 50+ years ago... and don't want it. Prohibition worked, stopping socialists from distributing anti-draft literature saved the nation, and we need to intervene in Asia to prevent the spread of Communists who'll always hate us for our commitment to human rights.

Thank God! I admit to experiencing more than a touch of angst over the last few days about the kind of effects the recent media smears might have on our man's polling numbers, but it looks as though it was unwarranted; this poll was conducted after the "Ron-Paul-is-a-crazed-bigoted-degenerate" mantra had been blaring at 100 decibels on most every major news outlet for close to a week, and the sliming doesn't appear to have had any effect. We need only keep the ship steady for a few more days now.

Yep, it does appear that their attempts to smear as a racist is not working on Iowa voters. I hope the same is also true for NH voters and the rest of the states.

Old people and women like government more than young people and men.
