Right now, we have this ad running at the Iowa State, U of Iowa (Iowa City), and U of Northern Iowa:

It's only a 3in X 3in ad, and it certainly would have been nice to have it be bigger, but that's what we were able to raise the money for.

Another note: There are very few publishing days left at Iowa State and the U of Iowa. I believe the last issue is either December 12 or December 16 before the school is out and the newspaper stops. So you got no time to put this together, get the money, and submit the ad to the paper, unless you basically do it within DAYS of today.

Just talked to an Iowa Newspaper Association rep. He will give me a quote for 1/4 page and 1/2 page black and white display ads later today or tomorrow morning. I don't see it being more than $1500, probably $1200. I'd like to see "Shock the establishment" replaced with "Live Free".

IMO if you are targeting college kids, they might be more apt to want to shock the establishment than to live free. But I'm old things might have changed since I was that age. At least that's how I though back then.
