Sadly, those are White, Western values and principles that most of the world's people laugh at and mock as weakness.

They don't give a fuck about the NAP or about you.

They will band together in however large a group it takes, and relieve you of your possessions, property and ultimately your life.

 


What isn't mentioned by "The General" is that this is a double-edged sword, and that one of the goals of the U.N./WEF is the manufactured consent of identifying/tracking every man, woman and child on earth by 2030. [The document contains 4 instances of monitor, for example.]

Passports are already mandatory, states are already implementing eVerify, National ID is being pushed, and are the stepping stones for "Global ID".

Like everything else this [and other] government does, they never let a crisis go to waste, and most of the times they are directly responsible for creating the chaos to begin with.

Keep asking/begging/pleading the government to "help" solve this problem, they, the U.N./WEF, and the corporatist-contractors are going to be ecstatic and thank you for your concern.

I can't make heads or tales over the bold. More colleges would mean more market choices and increase competition.

For any commodity, whether it be donuts or diplomas, if you reduce demand, the price comes down.

Taking over half a million Chinese out of the market will reduce demand and reduce costs for American students.

Adding over half a million will increase demand, raise costs and make college even more expensive for American students.

Why allow government to be involved?

Is that what happened to the vhs and compact disc market? Restrict it to less people? As I recall, there were only a couple of manufactures in the beginning and then all of a sudden more companies entered the market and the quality/features went up as prices went down. Government didn't decide.

Some people make the argument that if we don't sell China knowledge and information and education then they will just steal it from us.

There is a fixed pie though in Education like anything there is only a fixed amount of. Maybe AI will change this eventually but-

There's just simply a finite number of people who can receive the best education because there is a finite amount of the best teachers and a finite number of seats at the best teaching environments.

Then there is the whole thing about the status that one gets by having a college diploma from a prestigious institution.

There is a finite amount of those status symbols that give people power and influence.

Just like there is a finite amount of housing we can build because there is a finite amount of resources and land we can use to build housing.

Just like there is a finite amount of fresh water and the amount of fresh water available to some states is decreasing exponentially and there is no economical way to replace it yet.

That's usually why you have things like borders.

Then there is the argument that we usually end up selling that education to China and then end up having to buy things from China that are gained from that education because people in our country didn't receive it.

I hate the class argument but it exists.

The idea that if you want to create an elite class you have to make sure that the plebians can't receive the best education.

What better way to do that then to let a bunch of foreigners take all of the seats?

Geopolitics is more nuanced than that though since we have been propping up the idea of an independent Chinese nation since World War 2 because we didnt want Russia or another colonial power like Japan to fill the power vacuum.

What better way to do that then to make sure that some of the Chinese people receive the best education in the world?
