Invasion USA

Speaking out against government policy isn't aid or comfort for anybody.

It's also not only a citizen's right in a republic, it's a citizen's duty at times.
That's not what they are doing.
They are actively interfering with the removal of foreign invaders, and giving them aid and comfort.

The Breitbart Doctrine is the idea that "politics is downstream from culture" and that to change politics one must first change culture.

“So we have to just change the culture, period, and keep punching at it and punching it and punching at it.”

-Joe Biden

No, Free speech never covered treason, treason is giving aid and comfort to enemies of the people.
Perhaps you have it confused with sedition, which is speaking against the government.

So help me square this round peg then, if free speech covers sedition - which is what they were doing - what specifically about their speech makes it treason?

Betraying their "kingdom".

Trying to burn down the "kingdom" of liberty.

I already explained, they are giving aid and comfort to foreign enemies, that's not the same as purely domestic opposition to the government.

Swordy's got a new caveat for free speech -- the Foreigners Are Involved Exception.

Treason is a very old crime, and was never excused by "free speech".
Nor are they simply speaking.
They are giving active aid and comfort to foreign hostile invaders and attacking and disrupting law enforcement.

Okay but I need more specifics than that. My understanding is they were simply protesting.

Is protesting considered "giving aid"?

Because if you say yes then that opens a can of worms and inside that can is the death of the 1st amendment

It is what we say it is and we'll determine that when we determine that. You may need deported.

I mean, if we want to ignore the 1st so we can beat these people for their speech, that's certainly a debate worth having.

They probably do deserve a beating. 1st is overrated anyway

It's domestic terrorism. I know it sucks because the left weaponized those types of charges against conservatives but thats what marxism does.

They claim to be oppressed groups or be victims or to be protecting victims so they can punch you and you can't punch back.
