Invasion USA

Ah, Lord, but I do hate being on the tail end of that ride.

Just making conversation: do you personally think we may be reaching the end of those oscillations?

I do.

I do not think the world we have built can sustain those gyrations like they have in the past.

Too many people, too much technology.

Maybe doom porn, maybe not...I dunno.

Probably.

But if so, there's really no way of knowing until afterwards (well after you and I will have been long dead).

The year 476 AD is marked by historians as the end of the (Western) Roman Empire.

But to the people of the day, it was just another year.

(So to future historians, it may already have happened ...)

But merchants have no country. The mere spot they stand on does not constitute so strong an attachment as that from which they draw their gains. - Thomas Jefferson

Would you and others here be in favor of banning migrants from 3rd world countries that are politically right leaning?
Yes.

I am in favor of a total ban on all immigration, work visa and student visa programs, for a period of at least ten years.

That includes refugee resettlement programs, even though I have expressed support for refugee status of South Africans in the past.

The case was bought by three elite-backed advocacy groups and 13 migrants. The groups are the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (“RAICES”), Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center (“Las Americas”), and the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project (“Florence Project”).

What about the current 3rd world country immigrants who are already here legally and those who became citizens?

We need a total freeze for a generation along with a giant remigration, followed by only opening up a trickle from only the most culturally compatible places.

What's the main reasoning behind this? And why only allowing culturally compatible places?

What about them?

If I had my way, Hart-Celler would be repealed and the following language would be inserted into the 1924 Immigration Act, which would be re-instated:

On the day of repeal, if you are a fully naturalized citizen, then you retain all the legal rights and privileges of a citizen, including any minor children.

If you are not, then you do not, and you are subject to deportation at any time.
