Invasion USA

The majority will self deport. I'm seeing complaints about Trump not doing enough or that Obama's deportation numbers were higher. The reason Obama's numbers appear higher is they are counting people turned away at the border, including turning away the same people multiple times. Trump is enforcing the border and the caravan waves are far less so less numbers having to be turned away. Trump is by far exceeding the internal deportation numbers of anyone prior, plus the self deportations.

Yes employers should be held accountable for hiring illegals, but it is more complex than that when identify theft and fraudulent documents are commonplace. If an illegal uses fraudulent documents, the employer can just deny knowing they were illegal.
You don't need the fictional coneheads to show it. Just look at the news a couple of days ago.
US immigration raid of Omaha meat plant cuts staff, fuels food production worries
ICE agents detained about 74 to 76 workers out of roughly 140 at the Glenn Valley Foods plant, President Chad Hartmann said. Other workers did not show up on Wednesday because they felt afraid or traumatized, he said, adding that the facility's production dropped to about 20% of normal.

Glenn Valley Foods sells steak, chicken and corned beef products to restaurants and grocery stores, according to its website
...
Glenn Valley used E-Verify, a federal database used for checking employees' immigration status. Hartmann said Homeland Security told him on Wednesday that there was no better system.

And therein lies the next affront to individual liberty. The only way you can have a reliable E-Verify system is if you can authoritatively link a record in the E-Verify system to the human being that's filling out the employment application. That requires bio-metric linkage: photos probably aren't good enough, so you'd have to resort to finger prints, iris scans, or maybe even DNA. And that's not just for the illegals; it's for anyone claiming to be eligible to work in the US.

And even if you could physically secure the 12,383 miles of continental US border (including coastlines), you'd need the same type of authoritative identification.

To think you can have a secure border, or a secure employment system, without an authoritative national identification system is nothing more than cognitive dissonance.

No, we are at this point of needing authoritative identification because of decades of lax border and immigration enforcement resulting in over 20 million illegal immigrants. Ellis Island was established in 1892 to process and document immigrants coming to our country. If we simply enforce immigration law and get the majority of illegals to self deport, the case for more authoritative identification completely evaporates.

Exactly, it is the people fighting against Trump's deportations every step of the way who are inviting the police state.

Fighting Biden's importations didn't stop them, and fighting Trump's alleged deportations wouldn't slow them down either.

Trump is introducing the police state because that's what he's there for. It's why Biden's importations began under Trump 45 and why 9iu11ani torpedoed the recount.

Nonsense all around.

How a city in Nebraska is recovering after the state's largest worksite immigration raid

Here's the actual article: How a city in Nebraska is recovering after the state's largest worksite immigration raid

You might want to read on to the second paragraph:
Dozens of prospective employees, many of them Spanish speakers, had been coming in and out of the plant all day. Some were hoping to land a new job; others were coming in for training.
Why would the XITTER post leave that out? I'm betting it's so that more people from the anti-brown-immigrant caucus will lay eyes on it and propagate it. Because a half truth spread quickly becomes full truth in the eyes who hope it's true.

And why is it that the XITTER post implies the applicants are US citizens? I'm betting that it's because they're vetted through E-Verify (just like the 70 or so workers who were detained by ICE were).

It sounds like the revolving door of undocumented (or falsely documented, as it were) workers ... ICE leaves by one side of the door with the arrested workers, while new undocumented workers come in the other side of the door to take their place.

I haven't been able to find a story online saying that they've re-opened yet. I've got a couple of stories dated 16JUN and 18JUN saying the plant is still closed (but I don't know how reputable they are).
