Introduce yourself! Who, What, Where, Why!

I don't know what you mean by 'physically there', Chowder, but I believe the owner of this forum may live within about five hundred miles of you. And you may have just posted one of the longest posts in this thread, but that's all right--I like it.

Don't hold your nose when you vote any more, my friend, and let all your friends and relations know how good it feels to vote with a clear conscience too. Good to have you here.

I guess when I mean by 'physcially' is I really wanted to be present in those certain states that matter most during the Primaries. Thanks for the welcome.

Hi, I'm Katii from Illinois.

I've been a supporter of Ron Paul's since he started campaigning for the '08 Presidential election.

Chowder, I loved your introduction. Thank you for posting it. I can't tell you how good it does my heart, how much hope it inspires in me to hear stories like your own.

I am absolutely committed to do all I can physically and financially to get Ron Paul elected President in 2012 (assuming I'm not wrong about his intentions to run - but he's announced tonight he will form an exploratory committee :))

Hey I'm Travis from north Georgia. I'm originally from Minnesota. I became a libertarian/small government supporter in high school. I discovered Ron Paul in 2008. I'm looking forward to contributing anything and everything to the movement and advancement of liberty. It's the most important issue of our time.

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I didn't mean to post such a long intro but it really did come from the heart because for years and years I was lost in the neo-con rhetoric and what I was spoon-fed all my life. Ron Paul is much different and he has every conservative idea that I actually agree with. I never had a politician that I could look to and agree to on so many levels and yet the other so called Republicans can't even come close to it. I swear like many others on this board I want to meet him and be able to shake the hand of the future 45th president.

Liberty19, glad to have you here. We got more followers coming to join the forum. We're going to get there to 2012, and get this patriot in the white house!

Hello, I'm Levi from West Virginia, and I've been a supporter of Paul's since mid-2007 near the beginning of the campaign. I am currently at university in Richmond, VA, but I will be going home for the summer soon. I participated in the 2008 West Virginia GOP state convention as a delegate for Paul, and I just recently posted on the Grassroots forum about needing delegates. I believe this could be a key state for Paul if we get more delegates to the convention. This time, I am even more hopeful about getting Paul elected than the last time, as my awareness has only grown since the last election. I am starting to realize just how important this is. I am also an athlete. I run cross country and track, and I might add I am pretty good at it. I got to shake Ron Paul's hand at the convention and have ever since been a big fan of his, and I'm hoping at least to shake things up in a major way this season, if not win the nomination.

I've listened to several Ron Paul speeches and have been very impressed. Looking at some the content of this forum, I felt like I was on the dailykos. I saw posts that are anti-Israel and against the troops in the Middle East. I want out troops out but if this is what Ron Paul is about, I'm totally out.

Judging by your few posts so far, I seriously doubt you ever had any intention of supporting Ron Paul. Those who think Israel and "our troops" can do no wrong, and who evaluate the morality of an action on the basis of who is committing it rather than by universal considerations of justice, are rarely if ever the sort of principled, freedom-loving people who are attracted to Dr. Paul's views in general. Maybe you should return to "Free" Republic.

New member here, and I love Ron Paul and what he stands for. Oh, I think Jesse Ventura should be his running mate.

LONG LIVE THE REVOLUTION

Welcome to the forum. Yes, there are some anti-Israel folks on this forum but many of us support Israel. Ron Paul is not anti-Israel.

Some articles on how Ron Paul's non-interventionist foreign policy would benefit both Israel and the US:

This board isn't what Ron Paul is about, but each post you see here is a reflection of what the person who posted it is about. MOst of the time :)

Hi, I'm Becca from Texas. Happy to be here and glad for the chance to learn and share ideas. I've been a great admirer of Ron Paul since the early 80s. Sen Paul personally paid for the recovery of a young boys body that had been in a terrible bus accident in the Guadelupe River. Actions speak louder than words.

Hello My fellow sovereign American friends! Glad to be on board here! All my time for the last few years has been Alex Jones for news. I support Ron Paul 100% and spread the word as much as i can. I have been involved in my area to keep peoples rights by running for Common Law Judge in my tri county area. Michigan has never had a common law court before. Most people have no idea what the common laws are. I have made up fliers explaining common laws vs equity laws. I have a staggering amount of support. I hear nothing from officials, but everyone i come in contact with are really excited with what i am doing. I am using the system to be put on the ballot for county wide elections. My district covers 3 counties. I even had a municipal judge contact me wanting to put another judge on trial in my court... that really surprised me! I figured by using the municipal ballot system to be voted in will help keep me amune from being labeled as a terrorist by our tyrant government. I hope so anyway. I am taking out the equity laws within the boundarys of the 3 counties. Gun laws will be reverted back to what the Michigan State Constitution states. Michigan Constitution Article I, Section 6
Every person has a right to keep and bear arms for the defense of himself and the state.
That's it, no reservation for concealment, or transportation regulations. Federal laws are null and void here unless Michigan amends the state constitution... I will see to it that it stays that way!

Anyway.. Glad to be here and look forward to participating!

I just wanted to say hello. I'm mostly a reader on these forums and I'm ever so grateful that such a forum exists. The views, opinions, information and explanations here have helped me become vastly more educated on so many important topics. I have come admire Dr. Paul very much, it's inspiring to see him stand firm and unswayed no matter the circumstance. It's good to be in the midst other liberty-minded individuals!

Hi everyone,
My husband and I are Over the road truck drivers. We are both huge Ron Paul supporters. I have known about Ron Paul for years now but I never really followed what was going on with this country until about a 1 1/2 years ago. I think that I have seen most of his Youtube videos now. We have so much respect for him because he believes in our constitution. I truly believe that this country will not make it another four years if we don't have him as president. I do not know to much about politics, but we do travel all over the US and I would be more than happy to spread the word to drivers across this country.I I have a facebook account that I spread his word around daily. If anyone would like to add me my address is facebook.com/kaitlinpg..Thank you

Howdy everyone! I'm a D.C. native, born and raised and have always been in the midst of politics. I am a photojournalist and a pro liberty supporter. D.C. is quite an interesting place to live, yet it's all become so draining. I need a break from this city. I was thinking of moving to New Hampshire, but the opportunity to move to Salt Lake City has come up. I will be moving there in July. Are there any Pro Liberty Groups in SLC? On my last visit in April I attended a "Drinking Liberally" event with some speakers from NORML. It was a small group of people and I fear the political environment in Utah will frustrate me. The change in scenery is a big draw for me though, but I am hoping I can navigate a path to making some friends out there with similar ideas.

If anyone knows of any such groups, meetup or others, let me know.

Thanks!

Ello! I've been creeping in the chat lately but I figured I should introduce myself here. I am currently in school trying to licensed to teach high school (way more expensive and complicated than one would expect). I already received my bachelors degree in history but decided that I would like to teach now so I need another BA in social studies education. My study of American history is the reason I love Ron Paul. I fell in love with the philosophies of the American founders and find Paul to be the only politician who actually understands them.

Lovely to be here!

Welcome to the forums
