Introduce yourself! Who, What, Where, Why!

Hey, I'm Chase. I'm a student in Albany, NY.

I just heard right now Mitt Romney's dropping out of the race. Bad news cause that leaves McCain as the frontrunner, but ... you think that can help shift people over to Ron Paul?

-Oh yeah, and even if Ron Paul doesn't get the Republican party nomination, I am completely willing to support him as an Independent. I think an Independent candidate winning the presidency is not unrealistic this race - as long as he gets the media spotlight for being the ind. candidate.

Hi! I am from Oregon. There seems to be a lot of support for Ron Paul out here.

I am curious about him.

Hi. I am from Seattle.

I support Ron Paul simply because I view collectivism as a form of Tyranny and he is the most educated and Constitutionally involved candidate who understands this.

Hi. I'm Kathy, a 41 year old mother of 4 and Master's student. Politically I lean Libertarian, but I threw up in my mouth a little and took one for the team, switched to the GOP for the Good Doctor. I'm recently "retired" from the mortgage industry.

Lumara is here

Hello. My name is Lumara. I live in Tennessee and I have been a card-carrying Libertarian for years. Although I have always exercised my right to vote, I have never actually advocated for any candidate before because no good ones have run - until now. Ron Paul is the only one whose platform I agree with almost 100%.

I am very concerned with the direction our country is headed and am disappointed that Ron Paul is basically out of the POTUS race although I respect his decision to serve his Congressional constituents. I hope I can learn at this forum what we, as citizens who want to see our country get back on track, can do. :)

Hey, what's up? I just joined because I was interested in the Liberty movement. However, I'm a lot less idealistic/enthusiastic than when this post was first made; time tends to do that. Ultimately now I'm just hopeful for a better world...yes that's vague, but it's justifiably vague because there are multiple ways of going about achieving that goal despite what many people--admittedly here and elsewhere--would have you believe.

Opal.. on the redneck riveara.. the panhandle of Florida. Newcomer to this forum.. not that new to Ron Paul. I'm just a middle aged anti-establishment supporter who has a healthy disrespect for authority. I drop RP bills whenever I leave the house.. everywhere. I'm onboard for the march - health permitting (hubby is a disabled vet) and it's going to take WEEKS to catch up in here. :)

Hi

My name is Blake. I live in Tucson, Arizona. I am 51 years old. I am an attorney.

I first heard the message of liberty back when I was in college and I have never looked back. I voted for Doctor Paul in '88.

The explosion of the message of freedom this year has been a miracle - especially among young people. I have high hopes for the future of liberty.

I have been hanging out at Daily Paul since I got started in the RP08 campaign, but I have decided that I prefer a forum with some moderation. So here I am!

I hope to see you in Washington!

Peace

Hi everyone my name is Nathan Grooms. The best way I can describe myself is a 26 year old college student from Nashville, Tennessee. I am an enthusiastic blogger. I also enjoy learning anything I can about web design. I am interested in American military history, particularly World War I.
In regards to Ron Paul, it was in part my history interest which attracted my attention to him. He's a man who knows and understands the mistakes of the past.
