Insider Advantage Iowa: Romney 22.7%, Paul 22.4%, Santorum 18%

And OMG, if one more reporter even mentions the words NEWS and LETTER in the same sentence you all will hear the justifiably angry scream of a woman who is past furious scorn and if there were any justice whatsoever in the world, said reporters armpits would be permanently infested by the fleas of a thousand camels!

I WANT THIS IOWA WIN SO BAD JUST TO SHOVE THIS NEWSLETTER CRAP DOWN THE THROATS OF EVERY SINGLE DISHONEST JOURNALIST WHO HAS DONE NOTHING BUT TALK ABOUT IT RATHER THAN WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT LIKE I DUNNO..... SAVING AMERICA FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS??!! (But I guess that stopped being important to those video ego maniacs a long LONG time ago).

Just want to throw this out there. This group may be the ones behind the Santorum surge. httx ://iowaindependent.com/61057/religious-voter-drive-organizer-surprised-but-not-disappointed-by-tie-to-perrys-response

That's if they all decided to pull away from Perry and move to Santorum.

This has probably been said...

In the 2008 caucus males were 56% of caucus attendees.

The Insider Advantage poll only has males at 49% and Ron Paul does more strongly among men.

Hillary beat obama 45-18 among seniors. She lost the caucus by 8 points. 18-29 year olds were equal to seniors, 22% showed up. I think Hillary would disagree with you about the youth vote.

BTW love this quote: "This race is more decided than pundits think. The polls consistently show what we show, that being a Romney-Paul showdown," said Matt Towery, CEO of InsiderAdvantage.

source for Hillary taking that much?

When was this taken? I've put together a flimsy notion by taping the PPP poll to the DMR poll as if they were the same polling company, and see that Ron went down Thurs and Fri and back up over the weekend. I'd like to see when these polling days fell.

This one was taken New Year's Day.

Fascinating how Bachmann also seems to do considerably better among younger voters. Not sure why that is. :p

I am not doubting your numbers above. But I hardly doubt 22% of the Republican caucus goers are going to be 18-29 year olds. I also think it is foolish to completely rely on such demographic although an important one. If the Paul campaign made a one two punch sell by also going after seniors by telling them bringing home the troops will save SS, Medicare and Medicaid, we might be sitting a lot healthier tonight instead of a 3 way tie with the Santorum surge.

Please say that this is the last poll (not including exit polls) of Iowa. Sick of them.
I wonder if there will be any EXIT polls showing how strongly SANTORUM is SURGING from BEHIND in Iowa.
The Santorum jokes never get old.

I think they mean 22% of eligible 18-29 year olds went to the caucus, not 22% of the causers were 18-29.

The problem is that the baby boomer Republicans don't want to bring home the troops, they are the most scared group of voters when it comes to fearing foreign nations killing us or taking us over.

Remind them that we've been in Afghanistan longer than we fought in WWII and Korea combined. If we wanted to win a war rather than whatever it is we're doing, we would have done it already.
