In-It-To-Win-It Money Bomb - Planning & Promotion - Goal: $2M+ in donations on April 15

Buncha spammers...

~~~
So last night I watched a little bit of the start of SNL and caught a skit where Romney and Santorum are at a bar reminiscing about the race and they are slowly joined by Perry, Bachmann, Cain and finally Gingrich, who they shun because his campaign is broke and he hasn't quit yet. The whole gist of the skit was that the race was over and and Romney has won. Guess who's name was never mentioned and who didn't make an appearance? I sat there watching and wondering if this might end up being a modern twist on "Dewey Defeats Truman".
This race isn't over yet. Lots of district and state conventions were held Friday and yesterday in several states to select the national delegates for the convention in Tampa and unofficial reports are that Ron Paul supporters are turning out in huge numbers:
Colorado - Ron 13 delegates, Mitt 13 delegates, Santorum 7 delegates, 3 super delegates expected to go for Mitt
Minnesota - Ron swept 9 out of 9 delegates and 9 out of 9 alternate delegates from the districts that convened
Oklahoma - Ron swept 6 out of 6 delegates and 6 out of 6 alternate delegates from districts 3 & 5.
Even more interesting are reports from people at the conventions that the Ron Paul and Rick Santorum campaigns were coordinating and pushing "unity" slates to thwart the Romney campaign. If the reports are true, this coordination came from the national campaigns and not the grassroots levels. If this continues, Romney may not get the 1,144 delegates he needs to secure the nomination outright.
The media is doing their best to ignore the Ron Paul campaign (I doubt you will find any coverage of what's really happening with delegate selections) and annoint Romney as the GOP nominee. However, money talks. There is a fundraiser for the Ron Paul campaign happening today - right now. This is a critical juncture. If you support Ron Paul, or even just don't like Mitt Romney, please consider donating whatever you can spare. Even $10 helps (the Paul campaign is very frugal and smart with their money - fiscal conservatism that walks the walk):
I saw that last night as well, Bern.
We need to keep pushing along and give the campaign adequate funds through this current money bomb to go for the kill.
Promote the money bomb!
If all 935,733 people who "liked" the official Ron Paul Facebook page donated $15 to his campaign, that would total $14,035,995. If only half did, it would be a little over $7 million. And if only a quarter did, it would be a little over $3.5 million. The point of my post? There is power in numbers - donate to the cause of liberty today to show that you are 'In It To Win It'!
I just donated $20.12 to Ron Paul to help Restore America Now! You can donate too at https://secure.ronpaul2012.com/
Has anyone started a Twitter TimeZone competition yet?
(my twitter account is still suspended)
example: "@RonPaul #InItToWinIt 5 #FIATDOLLAR at noon your #TIMEZONE https://secure.ronpaul2012.com Timezone Competition #TeaParty #RonPaul #tcot #tlot"
or something like that?
Different competitions at hour intervals (be sure time zone doesn't overlap others)...etc...?
  • TimeZone competition
  • TeaParty vs Dems for RP or something?
Someone keep track of donations on the half hour....
add to list.....
Just received the Ron Paul Forums e-mail, "The world IS Ron Paul" at 8:45 AM PDT.
GREAT JOB!!!! Please Donate and tell just three friends/family members to do the same!!!!
Go tweet to celebrities who have openly supported Ron Paul too to have them spread the message to their followers!
Wale, Snoop Dogg, Arian Foster, Peyton Hillis, Kelly Clarkson, Joe Rogan, etc....I'm sure with enough tweets from us they'll get it out
I've seen lots of rumors about the campaign NEEDING $2.5 million from this money bomb to stay in. If that's true, WHY did they start it on Sunday & why didn't they take advantage of our pre-planning‽ Also, why was there ABSOLUTELY NO advertising by the campaign for today‽ It simply makes no sense to me. Either they don't need the funds as bad as the rumors lead us to believe, or their planning committee has issues... Thoughts?
I hope it's not politics within the campaign....bad....very bad....if so....
I still think Doug just hurt this moneybomb....jmho
Me too Clyde. Regardless of the roumors, why not take advantage of the FREE grassroots efforts? Is it possible they were unaware of our two weeks of planning & advertising? I just don't get it…
If all 934,000 people who "liked" the official Ron Paul Facebook page donated $15 to his campaign, it would total $14Million. If only half did, it would be a little over $7Million. Donate Today!
Don't dare question the campaign on RPF! You will be crucified!
No, really, the campaign could've helped out a little.
There would be another explanation, that the campaign is trying to gracefully suspend the campaign, without making the candidate look bad. Leak the info that you need an almost unachievable (yet not unrealistic) amount of money to go on, and then only half-assedly push for it. When only a fraction of the money materializes you can then say "Sorry guys but we officially ran out of funds. Thanks for all the hard work". Dr Paul's reputation would remain untarnished and you successfully suspended the campaign.
It could also be because they are almost out of money.
Running a Presidential campaign is expensive.
Edit: Actually, does anyone know the finance situation of Dr. Paul's campaign? The only data I can find is months old.
How did Santorum do it up until now then?
They've reassessed their budget in the wake of Santorums suspended campaign and figured out how much they'd need to make a major push to win TX and increase Rons travel/event rate to have an impact on other states. Campaigning for the convention with three (or maybe 2.5 would be more accurate) candidates in the race is going to cost more than it did when Santorum was still in (due to the media blackout and the drummed up narrative about Willard Romney)
As to the theme someone dropped the ball, we had In It to Win It, they had Tax Day moneybomb.... and then hit the site come today and the banner is "The only candidate for real reform".
