I'm Thinking of Starting a News Organization...

MISSION STATMENT (feel free to modify, this is a rough draft)

To best represent the rights of the people, the soverignty of the Individual States and of the United States, by returning this country to the Original Constitution of the United States, and the intended power structure provided thereby.

Further, to wrest power from those institutions and persons who, through guile and other means, have usurped the power of the people and the Individual States.

Further, to create an invironment for the free flow of truth and information outside the influence of those responsible for the inundation of the people with lies and propaganda by the established media.

How about the rights of the individual as well? Not just the state or nation.

Yes, you said rights of the people, but "the people" can still be viewed as a collectivist term.

But if their were commas between Individual and State, then I missed them.

Sorry if I'm being slow.

(modified: Rev #1) MISSION STATMENT (feel free to modify, this is a rough draft)

To reestablish and assure all the individual and collective rights of the people; the soverignty of the Individual States; and of the United States, by reforming this country under the Original Constitution of the United States, and the intended power structure provided thereby.

Further, to wrest power from those institutions and persons who, through guile and other means, have usurped the power of the people and the Individual States.

Look at the youtube where ex fox reporters tesified that they were told what to say on the news by the higher ups..

These reporters feel so disenfranchised that maybe we can get them on board as our reporters.. Tell them they are guaranteed some stocks as the news network gets bigger.. It would be a good idea to get 2 or 3 of these ex reporters on board because it would give our news station instant credibility because the public will recognize them when they worked for other networks.

Tell them that we will be the REAL fair and balanced news network, and that they can have stock in the start up of this project.. And tell them they can feel good about themselves as being a part of starting it for future generations- and for the future of America's health.

Convince them that in time they will be looked upon (through history) as revolutionaries, pioneers, and heroes for a new american frontier..

And all that is true.

That's a good idea, but we haven't reached that stage yet. (refer to the steps above)

I can and will spearhead the effort, but I need to know that we have enough grassroots backing to make it work.

This is already in the works, we have a rock solid plan and several big supporters getting organized. Can't give too many details but more info is here
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=79584

Members that have previously shown they are serious and can put together projects will be privately contcated. Please continue to discuss ideas, we will keep an active watch on the forum.

I must say that we're never going to get back our country unless we can find a way to bypass the MSM and having news network I darn good start.

How much did you say it would cost? $50,000? If it's that low, that's like spare change to this movement. :D:D:D

Sehr Gut! I like it. Could be a little shorter though. Maybe cut out the word "Network" from the slogan.

Yes, it could still be called FFNN on regular broadcasts and in print, but it isn't good in the slogan.

Forever Freedom News The People's News.

FFNN. I think we're really on to something.

But we have to make it a legitimate news network. It can't be all about Ron Paul or libertarianism. (It would be nice to have a libertarian bias though, since the rest of the media is liberal/conservativly biased).

A three word name is long enough, how about this slogan (of course we're getting off track here)

Freedom News at Five, We report, You Take Action!

Like it, just eliminate the "at five" if we ever become an actual station itself and the in print edition.

If we are to do this I'd propose a meeting of anyone who becomes a shareholder, and of anyone seeking employment from Freedom News and Information (I think we should enter into publishing soon after getting into the big bucks).
