I'm on the ballot!

I think in my district, the slate will be listed under Ron Paul's name, so I guess that means it will be open. Not sure exactly. This has come somewhat of a surprise and I'm pretty naive with the process...

Either way, it's No One But Paul!

TER,

Through work a couple of weeks ago, I met a young Orthodox priest who was a strong Ron Paul supporter. We talked about Paul, but didn't get into faith alone stuff or anything like that lol. He was cool.

Just to satiate my curiosity, how did you get on the ballot without you knowing about it?

I guess NJ is like WV and PA where you vote for the delegates rather than the candidates? Do we have delegates running for all available slots?

Congrats BTW.

Actually, within the Orthodox Christian blogosphere, I have found that Ron Paul is by far the most admired and endorsed candidate of all, this including blogs written and maintained by members of the clergy. Freedom is popular!!!

I filled the paperwork, got signatures, and then I hadn't heard anything for a long time so I figured I must have missed something. When I got the email last night, it was a surprise because I had written myself off some time ago from getting on the ballot.

Yeah, I'm sure it has nothing to do with Orthodoxy's past experiences with the state..... :D

Congratulations! I'll be praying for you!

YES!!! NJ CAN Have a Strong showing [altho keep in mind NJ does use those pesky Electronic Voting booths by Diebold] We need all Republicans to vote for our Delegates and we can WIN!

Here is a document I received to hand out at the polls http://www.filedropper.com/endorseddelegates-rafaell

I might do this as well, but am very much afraid of the retort I'd get from a Romney supporter for example.

Dont be!

A Statement from Tea Party Groups of New Jersey

Monmouth County Tea Party Coalition | Ocean County Citizens For Freedom | Bayshore Tea Party Group | Tea Party of Middlesex County

No longer will we be forced by both political parties and the media to choose between the lesser of two evils. We say, not on our watch will we ever give in to this sort of tyranny again. This game ends right here, right now! Endorsing Mitt Romney and his record of left-leaning policies would be a complete hypocrisy that collides with everything the Tea Party Movement stands for.

So, it is with great pleasure and honor that We of the above mentioned Tea Party Groups of New Jersey, announce our full endorsement of Dr. Ron Paul for President of The United States of America 2012. Dr. Paul's 20+ year voting record as an ardent constitutional conservative speaks profoundly of his integrity both as a representative of the people and as a human being. Dr. Paul's message of Limited Constitutional Government and Individual Liberty is what motivated the Tea Parties into action to begin with and this message will continue to resonate within our movement until America is restored to her former glory and is once again a beacon of freedom.

We choose to stand by our principles rather than to sell our souls to the game of politics because this is what Ron Paul has done consistently his entire political life and we expect nothing less of ourselves.

We are committed to serving our communities by demanding accountability and responsible governing from our elected officials and restoring our country to a constitutional, limited government.

With that on your side never forget; If you are Not having FUN YOUR DOING IT WRONG! :)
