If NH was our best chance...

Donations will begin to dry up and our poll numbers will fall to around 5% in other states.

Dr. Paul will still be able to spread the message but his media exposure will also lessen.

NOT A GOOD DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chin up, tighten your bootlaces.

Stay on target...

It's a setback but Paul will still beat Giuliani tonight

All the candidates are enduring setbacks, Clinton in Iowa, Romney, Giuliani, Thompson, in both Iowa and NH, Ron Paul in NH, and it will still mean that Ron Paul beat Giuliani twice in a row. That's got to hurt Giuliani, which itself is a great victory.

With 23% reporting, Ron Paul is only 350 votes behind Giuliani.

We can pick up 12 delegates in just the bay area of California... That is as many as the whole state of NH

It is not over yet!!!!!

The good news is that we've got the war chest to hang around. Plus, we're an insurgent, unorthodox campaign by nature. The Romney campaign is probably throwing up all over the place having seen their "Iowa/NH" 1-2 punch go down in smoke. We're not as tied down to such conventional "election strategy" thinking. Positively, never in a million years do I think any of the "mainstreamers" would have thought that Dr. Paul would be in double digits (or close to) in Iowa and New Hampshire or that he would trounce Giuliani in one state and Thompson in the other (at least so far). So we definately ARE an over-achieving and growing campaign (especially when you throw in the extraordinary fundraising)... as opposed to a campaign sputtering and winnowing down (e.g. Biden, Richardson, Hunter etc.). That's very important at a time when the media will be quick to corronate "winners" and "losers".

That being said- it's all about delegates... and a lot more Republican and Independent (where applicable) voters' minds need to be won over between now and February 5th.

Before 2007, how many even knew about Libertarianism and all of its merits? In '88, Paul retained less than 1% of the vote. Today, one out of every ten people not only know about these ideas, they support them.
I know that we expected more as far as polls go. I know that we care passionately, but we are not tested in the good times but rather in the bad. Revolutions can take years and even decades, but staying pure to ideas and persevering against obstacles is the key to victory. Even if Ron Paul does not win the Republican primary (and I am by no means saying that he will not) the Revolution must continue. Run for representation of your people, us.
