They are no longer friends I think, even though would be a pretty strong ticket if they joined forces.
They go way back, Trump funded Hillary election campaigns and Clinton Foundation. Recently Hillary Clinton tweeted to support $3Trillion gummit spendng to put Families-First in the war against invisible enemy aka covdid-19, Trump supported that call within hours. Even if their personal bad blood of late is put aisde, despite their common ground on moderate socialism, big government spending/police state, global interventionism etc , Hillary's not so great relationship with BLM movement and her opposition to gay marriage could make her incompatible with Trump's liberal progressive stance on such social justice and diversity issues. He had quit GOP once over similar issues to take a stand against Pat Buchanan going by media reports.

If Biden did pick SR, pressure from Ivanka-Kushner wing may build on Trump to replace hardcore Christian Pence with a more 'diversity is our strength' model candidate. There were rumors earlier that they had tried to convince Trump to replace Pence with Nikki Haley.
