HuffPost Opinion Piece: "It’s Time For The Biden Campaign To Embrace AI"

Here are a few noteworthy but very concerning quotes from the article:

While of course there are reasonable hesitations to break this dam on the use of modern technology in presidential campaigning, the consequences of not taking this approach could be dire. Moreover, in the currently under-regulated electoral landscape, refusing to use modern tools like AI is akin to entering the boxing ring with one hand tied behind your back.

Joe Biden is old and has had a lifelong stutter. He acknowledged in a fiery rally following his debate performance: “I might not walk as easily or talk as smoothly as I used to.” This has impeded his ability to communicate with mass audiences with consistent success. AI augmentations and video renderings could serve to smooth out these bumps while allowing the Biden campaign to effectively disseminate true information about the state of our democracy and the Biden administration’s accomplishments. The president has limited time to campaign as he also focuses on running the country, and AI would be a cost-effective and efficient way to communicate his message personally and directly to voters.

AI-generated content can be tailored to highlight President Biden’s accomplishments, clearly articulate his policies, and present a consistent, compelling message. In an era where visual mediums and quick, digestible content dominate public perceptions, AI offers an opportunity for more effective communication. These AI-enhanced videos could ensure that the public does not make decisions about the future of our democracy based on an inconveniently timed cough, stray stutter, or healthy but hobbled walk (Biden suffers from a ‘stiff gait’).

So after all the fuss from the White House Press Secretary about the danger of "cheapfakes" of Joe Biden, now someone on the Left wants to employ them, in order to stop "Orange Man Bad." They live in a sea of hypocrisies. But, of course, we know what a "can of worms" that would open up for future Democratic candidates (like Kamala Harris) who simply are cringeworthy in their speeches and their behaviors before the public.

It's got to the point where I can not tell if that article is satire or not.

As I said earlier today in another post, when it comes to Biden, if it's not live it's not believable.

We're just encountering more people on the Left who are unhinged from reality and are so desperate that they will do anything to keep Biden in the race because of their hatred towards Donald Trump.

They don't live by ethics and principle; they exist by emotion and power-addiction.

Interesting article....but the cat's already out of the bag...the horse has left the barn..

The problem Democrats have now is having conceded that Biden is indeed a feeble old man, "AI" isn't going to fix that. I suppose they could get a hologram or Android (or just some CIA agent in a very good mask) to pretend to be Biden in the next debate. But putting forward videos showing a "spy" and mentally fit Biden that are not real time will not help him. Their latest tactic is to claim that "While Biden may be frail, at least he wasn't straight up lying like Trump." Of course that's not true. Biden was caught in multiple lies including the lie that there were more border crossings under Trump than under Biden.
