I vow to NEVER vote for Bob Barr. *Bump For Support*

I'm really irked that it appears that Barr didn't even contact Ron to tell him he wasn't coming. That is so unprofessional. So unless he says something amazing and earth-shattering at his conference, I'll be voting against Barr, McCain and Obama, even if it means Cynthia Greene.

Didn't you read Don's post? He did call Ron's staff minutes before, and he said it "just isn't worth it" to come.

We Agree
The Republican/Democrat duopoly has, for far too long, ignored the most important issues facing our nation. However, alternate candidates Chuck Baldwin, Cynthia McKinney, and Ralph Nader agree with Ron Paul on four key principles central to the health of our nation. These principles should be key in the considerations of every voter this November and in every election.

* Foreign Policy
* Privacy
* The National Debt
* The Federal Reserve

Interesting that someone's name is missing from that list ;)

Bob Barr said on TV the other day that if he knew Iraq had weapons of mass destruction he would support the War in Iraq.

Yes, Bob Barr is a total cocksucker. I've been saying that all along.

He's been publicly slamming Paul from day one.

He made a living putting people in jail for drugs as a federal prosecutor, for crying out loud. He made himself famous by fighting *for* the drug war. He didn't even support the total decriminalization of drugs until about two months ago.

He favors a national Federal sales tax.

He voted for the PATRIOT Act twice. He has no concept of property rights. He's pro-IP. He finds it entirely acceptable for an 17 year old boy to spend 10 years in prison for having oral sex with his 15 year old girlfriend, and believes releasing him would be unconscionable - even though the law he was convicted under was repealed.

Why anyone here would or could ever consider voting for him is way beyond me. Nothing new was learned today about Bob Barr.

Well put.

Fuck Bob "CIA" Barr.

Bob Barr supports the income tax, voted for the patriot act, and is former CIA. He's a neocon, nothing new, and rejects Ron Paul.

Why would any self-respecting libertarian vote for Barr the fraud?

i never had any intentions of voting for barr, this just sealed it.

i dont even know what to do anymore. looks like i'll just sit outside the polling booth and rant and rave at all the obama/mccain people i see :(

Vote for Ron Paul!

we need to solidify on ONE third party candidate, not because they are the best of whats left, but because we need to get that 15% so that next time, we can get in on the debates.

Bump ... I wasn't ever going to vote for Barr anyway. The man has a shady history. Sorry, Bob, I don't fall for recent converts... ;)

I won't vote for Barr for the same reason he bailed on Ron Paul's press conference this morning - "it just isn't worth it".
