I attempted to vote today.. Unfortunately when I arrived we were giving cards instructing us on how to use the machines to vote. Apparently in Illinois they don't allow paper ballots for 1 reason or another.. according to the lady to I asked. I guess I'll be going back on election day to get my vote in for Chuck Baldwin. Much better than risking losing it to a "computer glitch".

Congrats Aravoth, that pic is a keeper

I cast my ballot today.

LP for Prez, Conservative Party for Congress, Working Family Party for State Senate, Conservative Party for State Assembly, Independence and Republican Parties for two judgeships. Yes on a Veterens Rights Amendment, and Yes on a local library budget.

I might have gone for Baldwin, if it wasn't a write in. I saw pros and cons to both choices and went for the greater chance on the 5%. As Nader is not in a party (and that is who my votepact partner went for) I felt no need to consider him. And though I am a green conservative, I won't give them my vote till they drop the drama...

The lessor of nineteen evils...

That is because it is Obama's home state. He has to win there. ;)

I would double check on that. Illinois allowed paper ballots during the primaries.

I voted Friday...Stood in line for two hours to write in Chuck Baldwin. (Ron Paul isn't registered as a write-in in GA.)

The rest of the ticket was straight Libertarian, and all incumbents were voted AGAINST.

It felt good.

+++ A

Stand up to the true principles and Write-In Dr. Paul. Rest are all clowns including those 3rd-party, 3rd-rated elitists.

That was a complete waste of 2 hours. You're vote will probably just be thrown away or invalidated, patriot.
