I live in Grand Rapids Michigan, which is a pretty major city in the county of Kent. When my wife and I voted for McCain, ooops, I meant Ron Paul, there were only 112 votes cast out of 1300 registered voters at 5:30 p.m. Just thought I would let everyone know that there seems to be low turnout. I had broken my pelvis in three places three weeks ago but I still went to vote.

What's that supposed to mean?

Okay it was a damn joke

Wow people, we really need to step back and look at ourselves. To state my position. I was aware that the MSM was ready to write McCain off not two months ago. Now he is the saviour of our country according to the press. I am mortified that our public opinion can be swayed so easily. Now I risk personal injury to go and vote for Ron Paul and I try to make a little joke about the current political climate and everyone gets pissy. To whoever said it was a comment on voter fraud was exactly right. Jeez

Thanks for the report.

Some of us should probably lay off the coffee for a couple hours.

I just got back from voting...

There was a lady from the MI DNC or something standing out front encouraging democratic voters to vote "uncommitted" since the DNC removed delegates. I instantly responded "or Ron Paul and screw up the Republican establishment" she just smiled and said "that works too"

It was all old people in there though, I don't know how well me county will do.

I really hope RP will run independent so we will get more time to reach the people. He still has such low name recognition that is quite attached to the slanderous "extremism"/"fringe" that the MSM has labeled it :(
