I voted for the first time today. This is what I saw...

Voting for Obama? Change? ha. if only his supporters knew he i really pro war, and these people are said to take the most time to study candidates? lol. they would know that if they did any research!

wow lets get all hot and bothered over one precinct. take your negativity to another forum

I'm in NH too. Just got back from poll checking for the morning shift. I saw the same things actually. This is not negativity, it's reality.

Obama has been attracting crowds of 2000 - 3000 several times a day for the last 3 - 4 days.

People are so weary of old white republicans, they are looking for the complete oppposite now. And they have found it in Obama (they have that perception anyway). Plus Obama is running a much smarter, more organized campaign than Paul here in NH.

I'm deepy saddened, but this is what is happening in NH. :( :( :(

We Need To Make Sure We Get Every Vote We Can Get....

Shit, this looks bad....

Rep. Ron Paul, an anti-war Texas congressman and onetime Libertarian Party presidential nominee, was drawing 10 percent support in Monday's poll, and a growing number of independents have told pollsters they are considering voting for him.

"The big trouble that we have over the last year was you know, getting our message out," Paul told CNN. "And now, the money is flowing in, the money comes in faster than we can spend it. Because when people hear this message, they get so excited about it."

As someone who is self-employed and lives in Florida....

I can tell you straightout that the old people do everything in the morning.

It gets "too scary" after 4pm :)

The polls from 5pm forward will be the "working folk"

This applies to airline flights, doctor's offices, grocery stores, etc :)

On the subject of independents... This helps us. The vast majority of independents were going to go with McCain or Obama. Massive independent turnout helps Obama and hurts McCain. We can not have McCain win NH... If he loses NH, he has no money, and will be out of the race.

This is a marathon! We have the money and the base to move to the convention... most other campaigns don't!

New Hampshire is a semi-open state.

A vote for Obama is a vote against ALL the republicans, Paul included.

Exactly, I'm thinking the same thing.

I did some poll watching for a few hours.

1. Many independents/undeclared voters are going Democrat.
2. TONS of old people.....TONS.

God help us all.

Thanks very much for your honesty. It helps me to not get my hopes up like I did with Iowa.

LOL

Well, I am old and I will be voting for Ron Paul. :)

Me, too!! (by Internet standards anyway). I'm definitely in the 'over 40' crowd and so are most of the people I know personally who are voting for Dr. Paul! We're not all as dumb as the MSM thinks (I hope)

Alex - work with the canvassers and help identify the folks who would vote for RP but are just too stupid or lazy to get out to the polls. Give them a ride to the polls. Your Precinct Captain should know who to start identifying, and the people canvassing right now should be identifying new people who will also be too lazy and need a ride to the polls.

So early bird independents are going Democrat. The younger voters will vote for Ron Paul later. McCain, who preaches a 100 year war is up right now. Remember how they kept reminding us of the first city that voted, it is not indicative of the rest of the votes. It is too early to tell anything right now. Old people are up and ready to vote, the revolutionaries will be there. There is no way those people will not show up. I would rather those guys go dem then give their support to another Repub, then it makes us look weak in our field, not necessarily Ron Paul. Why can't people tell Obama and the dems are the same and all the repubs are the same and you can't tell the difference between any of them? Ron Paul is the only way. Anyways, this is our peaceful way to overthrow the government. There are other ways.

God, I hope you're right about the young people coming and voting later. I've heard that the last six elections, and 18-24 never showed like they polled.

I bet you really love your Mom and Dad and Grandparents don't you. Punk!!

My grandma is voting for Hillary because she is a woman and my grandma voted for Reagan because he reminded her of her brother. There is no way to figure them out, I love her, but her politics do really stink.

Question_Authority - do you know how to get ahold of your precinct captain? Please do so and volunteer to help get out the vote. This involves canvassing marginal supporters, looking for new marginals, identifying who needs to be taxied to the polls, and possibly even taxiing them to the polls yourself. It is not fun, but it WORKS.
