I voted for Ron Paul in OHIO!!

On a side note, when I walked in I had a choice of ballots.... Rep, Dem, issues only, and LIBERTARIAN!! That's the first time I've seen that. Granted, this only the 2nd primary I've participated in. I can only assume that this means the Libertarian Party in Ohio is starting to get their shit together and that there is an increased interest in it.

I asked if I could pick more than one and of course they said no. I would have liked to have voted for Dennis Kucinich against Marcy Kaptur now that her district has been combined with his. It would also be nice to have been able to vote for Gary Johnson in the Lib primary.

I remember them asking me if I wanted a Libertarian ballot back in 2010, but they didn't today. Anyways, I'm another vote for Ron Paul in Ohio. Unfortunately none of my family will vote for him. I don't think they're voting at all.

Though i ran into my uncle on the way in to vote as he was coming out.He said i should vote Newt.I said noway im voting for Ron Paul.Then he goes, well i guess if you wanna give Obama 4 more years.To which i replied Uh its a primary not general.I said it didnt make a difference if you got Newt ,Romney or Santorum.I said there just Obama(light) theyd still bankrupt us and pull us into another War.He then starts spouting how dangerous Iran was.His eyes then got huge when i said i didnt care if Iran got a nuke,because i know there not insane enough to use it because they know if we did Israel or the US could wipe them off the Map in a week.To which he said talk to you later.Hehe

Ps also on a side note i was a little annoyed but in the end im glad the guy that took my name was persistent.My drivers license address didn't match my registration because i moved recently and he wouldn't let me vote till i brought him a bill as proof of my address.

I talked my brother in law and sister into voting for Ron Paul, and they're both the mainstream Republican type, so I was surprised that I could get them to vote for Ron. (They live in Ohio.)

I live in the ghetto in Cleveland and there are thousands of people living within a 15 minute walk of my polling place. I got there at about 5:45 and I was the 34th vote of the day and the only one voting at the time. When I asked for a Republican ballot they asked me, "you are a Republican, right?" They were either trying to get me to say something and take away my ballot or they were just shocked to see a Republican voter.

I'm in Ohio and I voted for Ron this morning. Felt good, actually the best "feeling" vote I have ever cast. Then a couple of hours later my ex-wife calls me to ask me how the poles were and then told me she was voting for Santorum since Ron Paul isn't winning, So that set me off then I argued with the ex and her mother for a hour on the phone about drug and foreign policy. Good times.

So Dr. Paul was beaten handily in Ohio (as expected), but I got a nice surprise when I found out my Dad voted for him. He had been talking about Gingrich awhile ago, but was so turned off by his (and the rest of the candidate's) background that he ended up voting for Paul... He may be skeptical of some of Ron's ideas that he deems 'too extreme for the common American', but no doubt could see the integrity in him. I know today was a disappointment, but on a personal level, I got some (albeit minor) satisfaction.
