I understand hatred of McCain, but...

If McCain wins the election, it will become impossible for any Republican to oppose amnesty, loss of sovereignty to multiglobal institutions, global warming nonsense, mushy RINO judges who will uphold McCain-Feingold, and all the other stuff McCain plans to do --- because the GOP establishment will clamp down and call any such internal party dissent "disloyal", "racist", or other nonsense. Just as it has been for these Bush years.

If Obama wins, Republicans will finally be able to speak up for Republican principles --- and clearly and cleanly oppose 99% of what Obama does. And we will be able to force the RINO's in Congress to either become Republican or become unemployed. And a McCain loss will seriously destroy the credibility of the establishment wing of the GOP that has doen so much damage to both the party and the country.

Neither are worth my vote. But IMO a McCain loss is entirely acceptable.

Akus is indeed the naive of this thread.
This is very simple concepts.
Of course Obama is the worst of the two, and of course, he will take the neocon agenda and run wild with it.
That's the whole point.... people need a full does of socialism to get the taste of slavery...
The GOP leadership as of today needs to be crushed in every race. There are reasons this is good for the future of our country.
Short term relief is nil.

Guy, stop. I've abandoned the big two long ass time ago. And it doesn't matter who wins. Obama and McCain are NO different. Get this through your head. Why do you think McCain is so unpopular in the GOP rank and file? Because he rubs shoulders with liberals all the time. He has burned every bridge there is to burn. Borders, campaign rules, guns, taxes, you name it. Obama or McCain there will be socialism.

I agree, they are the same on policies. We've already state this several time.
Its about party politics. You really are not getting this are you...
If McCain wins.. the NeoCon leadership in our parties are validate and the GOP stays Democratic Party part 2.
The Neocon candidates lose across the board... the leadership falls out of favor and we have a chance to take it over.
Its not about the candidates, they are the same. Its about positioning ourselves for a take over.

Burn, baby burn.
We will sweep away the ashes and rebuild on the Constitution.

I vote my conscience. I vote FOR a candidate. Obama does not deserve my vote, so quit using him to justify any other vote. McCain does not deserve my vote either. So, he will not get it either.

Yeah and if Obama wins then the next Republican candidate will be nothing but a GOP version of John Kerry. No substance and bashing the Democrat guy, but in reality just pandering to say what he feels you want to hear. As much as I believe Obama will win this, it doesn't matter who wins this fall.
