I tried to warn you guys.

We need to put together a game plan and present it to the campaign staff. I don't like their commercials, I don't like the fact that they don't return calls and when you offer to help, they dismiss you and tell you to canvas. Someone on the staff should be coordinating all volunteers and setting up local headquarters so that we can establish phone banks and meet and coordinate with the very talented u-tube producers who have put together some of the best "commercials" I've seen. The meet-ups are great for gathering and brainstorming but we need visible, established campaign headquarters in each large city. The campaign should be utilizing us for more visibility.....by spending our money on our ideas and allowing us to be more involved in the process. We already have a proven track record. Instead of ignoring us, they should be looking to us.

Tell me something DJ, and George. What the fuck were you guys going to do that would've changed the outcome of Iowa in 2 days? Explain that to me.

Gonna make phone calls? It was done.

Gonna buy TV Air time with 2 days to go? Good luck with that.

Gonna drop something in the mail? It would've arrived on Monday.

Nothing would've changed it. This idea is about 60 days late to the party. If it would even help at all. HQ hasn't paid attention to a god damn thing anyone here has ever asked, or screamed at them. How the fuck is some small band of merry Paulites all of the sudden going to get access to all the info.

They can't even coordinate like some of you are thinking with the grassroots because of laws. And Goerge, don't give some crap about "oh something big is coming". I don't wanna hear anymore speculative bullshit from any of you. If you have an inside track and know what is happening, spill it. Don't sit there and make yourself feel important. Everyone on this board works there asses off. Calling yourself "heavy hitters" is fucking laughable in my book.

I want an answer to this, if I have to be subject to Georges bullshit nonstop on the forums now.

Drop the foul language and engage in intelligent discourse.
Nearly everyone has come to the conclusion that there is something wrong - big time - with the way the offical Ron Paul campaign is being managed.
Just check the offical RP website.
There is no mention of Iowa and what needs to be done next to secure NH.
Over-confidence or complacency? The former got us into trouble in Iowa.
They are willing to make the same mistake again?

Yes, HQ has failed us. The others are organized w/ 100 million dollars, and know all the political dirty tricks.

We are a bunch of internet nerds who refuse to leave our laptops.

Anyone feel like organizing, without organization we will remain a bunch of fools on an internet forum..

I also do not agree w/ everything that Dj said, tho of course I support his right to say it. I look forward to hearing TVMH's take on it.

Yay 1st Amendment!

Face it. The campaign did nothing. They raised all this money and now they're sitting on it. The grassroots did with 1 million more then the campaign has done with 10.
The campaign did lots in Iowa and got lots of people to show up and vote. It would've been foolish to dump as much in Iowa as the guys who beat RP in the vote did, because Iowa is only one state. Look at Romney for instance. Perhaps we could've thrown all 20mil at Iowa to come in second then have nowhere to go afterwards. Or get a disappointing third like McCain. Or, better yet, sing Kumbaya out in Iowa the entire campaign and come in first like Huckabee. Fred Thompson was the only other guy who was smart about the Iowa madness. Ron Paul is gonna mop the floor with him in NH. Nobody cares about anyone but Ron Paul in the super Tuesday states.

I am not necessarily trying to ruffle anyone's feathers...all I'm saying is that we have a choice:

1) We can sit around and bemoan the fact that we didn't do well in Iowa;

OR

2) We can identify areas of improvement and work harder.

It really is that simple.

This needs bumped. And this may have something to do with what happened in Iowa:
http://www.paulunteer.com/hot-forum...-paul-des-moines-hq-voter-database-sabotaged/

And we need mdh on the computers in New Hampshire so things are secure as hell and they work right!

I don't know anything about sabotage as the article suggests, but I do know that I sent in a list of names for the purpose of being contacted the day of the caucus. Instead, I learned yesterday afternoon that something had gone wrong with the system, and the phone calls were not being made.

I had already started calling people who I knew would be home that morning. Then just before I left for caucus, I got a call from a student volunteer reminding me to go to caucus.

I know there was a major malfunction that probably cost us
.

Look, if Ron Paul doesn't win it won't be because the grass roots or the campaign screwed up. It will be because his message of limited government is NOT POPULAR. .

I BEG TO DIFFER.

Right now more than ever, WE must be seen in public and show off our passion. Lets be seen in large numbers at highschool basketball games, go bowling together and wear some Revolution TShrits... get out there and demonstrate; prove that our biggest competitor in this race right now IS the main stream media.

Focus focus focus on 2 things and win this puppy....

A) Educate and open the eyes of the population about the media. The Revolution is working wonders and the establishment is very worried, and the establishment will not rest until we have dispersed and have gone home licking our wounds. Hit that media dominance dinosaur hard... NH couldn't be a more perfect example and opportunity. Do we need to ALL get up off our butts and drive up there and hold signs outside the polls in mass ??? That idea sure as hell beats sitting here pecking on this computer and worrying....

B) Having finally removed their media blinders... the population will be free to listen and consider what we have to offer either on the Tv or in person one on one. Sounds so easy yes ? Except that the other candidates are out there giving their pitch in our back yards just as well. So lets quickly create a crash salesmanship training program and gain the winning edge. We are bright people and NEVER forget that.

Our eyes are open and we see the need. We just need to open their eyes... they will thank us in the end.

Peace and Joy

meetup in public - and HAVE FUN DAMMIT!!!!

This is good - take your meetups out for fun, do whatever in a group - have as much actual fun as possible - smile for real - and wear some sweet Ron Paul gear. And everyone who is "all in" for this jackpot should get yourself 1000 Ron Paul cards, get some slim jims, get some youtube compilation dvd's, grab some stuff from the OC...

... let's slowly turn the volume up a notch... then maybe another ...

remember: when your smile is real you win their curiousity!

Positivity is powerful and highly contagious!
