I think secret weapon was PARDON ALL NON-VIOLENT DRUG USERS

It's horrible to put people in prison for small amounts of pot etc... I think the policy is actually making criminals out of people who would have never been a criminal if they weren't forced to survive in prison.

ridiculous huh. prison should be exclusively for violent persons and other grievous crimes (war criminals)

Who runs the drug cartels?

It's not just gangs and criminals that make money off of illegal drugs.

Correct. The C.I.A. runs cocaine, Skull & Bones runs heroin, and the Mossad developed and runs Ecstasy (MDMA). If you use any of these drugs you are not only destroying your body... you're also helping to fund the evil operations of these organizations.

I don't know if we quite understand just how big of a statement this is in the low income and /or black communities. It really resonates highly. I've just talked to two of my neighbors that i haven't seen in while and they were amazed to here it, one of said that he has a couple of friends coming over and he will be telling them about Ron Paul! And he also said, "I wouldn't worry about the racism thing, I understand how how those big people (refering to the people in charge) do things."

BTW,,,my neighborhood is 90% black!

PARDON ALL NON-VIOLENT DRUG USERS – GREAT IDEA – 14+ Million Votes!

This idea could generate MILLIONS of VOTES for Dr Paul

"During 2006 the total Federal, State, and local adult correctional population — incarcerated or in the community - grew by 159,500 persons to over 7.2 million. The growth of 2.3% during the year was about the same as the average annual increase in the correctional population since 1995 (2.5%). About 3.2% of the U.S. adult population, or 1 in every 31 adults, were incarcerated or on probation or parole at yearend 2006." (http://www.drugwarfacts.org/prison.htm)

Great Grant Parents, Grandparents, Parents, Brothers, Sisters, Cousins, In-laws and Friends; if each person that is tied up in the legal system for drug use, got only 2 people to vote for Ron Paul?

That’s 14 Million

Ron Paul

they were just talkin on fox news that if weed was legal people would be getting high b4 and during work...just laughed at my parents were calling the reporter and idiot

That's the dumbest thing I think I've ever heard. How many people do you know get drunk before and during work? Ugh.. stupid people.

That's true! Fermented wheat is legal now, and I drink beer all day at work, instead of coffee.

Clueless idiots. Someone, please explain to me how one person's right to be self-destructive grants someone else a right to play God.

New MLK Bomb Page

Why don't we tie this into the Martin Luther King day and explain how Ron Paul would offer pardon and amnesty to all non-violent drug users, and how this benefits families across America.

We can add some statistics on how minorities are being profiled, and a huge disproportionate number of them are in jail for these "drug crimes" that didn't even use to be crimes. How its turning us into a police state with lots of violence (the national magazine cover saying we're turning into a police state would be a good graphic for site), and how violence increased under alcohol probitation. We can state that after 20 years, we don't need this losing program anymore.

Poor people understand this is what is happening. Also, the Rosa Parks photograph would be good. Should be clear, one page, with an emphasis on the violence and injustice of it more so then an intellectual one, although it is completely reasonable and true intellectually.

Put that up on a sign up donations page, and I'll increase my MLK donation ten fold!

The HQ continues to try to bury the RP and portray him in the ads like a generic Republican. They would never go for this.

When we get that page, we can make it go viral, and donate the h*ll out of it that day.

The establishment will be in shock and awe. I'm pretty sure they will be at a complete loss on how to spin it. Meanwhile, more then 14 million people (from above post) will be coming in.

I'll pass on the youtube link to FAMM -Families Against Mandatory Minimums. They have been advocating for non-violent drug offenders for years.

Obviously they've never worked on a construction site.... or in a restaurant... or at.... hmmm

You know pretty much everywhere I've ever worked people have gotten high before, during and after work...

I'd say this is a WEAPON all right but not one for Paul to use....it will be used to slay him by his adversaries.

Well, the government is a gang of criminals, so I guess an arguement could be made against that statement.

This has really gotten no play in the press at all, because they know it would be huge. We need to get this out as well in my opinion. To me that is a stroke of genius that Dr. Paul mentioned that.

Did Paul really say he would do this?

Wow! Of course, he couldn't do it until the War on Drugs had ended, could he? I think such a claim would be a liability if he claimed he would.
