I think Ron Paul is about to announce NEXT WEEK!

yeah that has always been my line of thinking. Chances are, we're going to take CPAC by storm and win in a landslide. So that would be the best time for Ron Paul to announce he will be running for The President Of The United States Of America

I'd refine that to The President of these united states.

How do we know Romney won't pay truckloads of people to come to CPAC and vote?

remember, we just need republicans to win the nomination. he already has 73% name recognition nationwide among republicans. this is a great start, but we can get these voters to vote for him. it will be a challenge, but it can be done.

Three-four weeks of fundraising time > announcing on a specific day.

waiting for Ron to announce will be like waiting for the iphone to come to verizon - painful, but worth the wait

To continue the metaphor ... let's hope the delay does not allow the competition to gain ground it otherwise could not have.

And that the initial 3G network will soon be replaced with the much quicker 4G network, which will cause an explosion in new and very satisfied customers.

I am absolutely brimming with excitement at the thought of such an announcement, though I will, for now, remain only cautiously optimistic about the likelihood he will run, or about his chances in the election should he do so. Let us be wary, for Dr. Paul has become enough of a household name over these last three years that if he does run again, the media will not be able to simply adopt the "ignore-him-or-laugh-him-off" approach they did in 2008; I am virtually certain that a Ron Paul 2012 presidential candidacy will generate an absolute bombardment of negative coverage- a blitzkrieg akin to that which plagued Rand throughout his general election.

Ron Paul is Aqua Buddha!

This reminded me of when we (Ron Paul supporters) were at the Iowa straw poll, we were a huge group walking around yelling "Ron Paul" and when a group of paid Romney staff tried to follow us around and drown us out, one of our cheer leaders thought to have us chant, "We're not!.. PAID STAFF!" and you should have seen their faces when they stopped and looked at each other when most of them were wearing T-shirts that had "STAFF" printed on the back of their T-shirt. After that they just stopped and never bothered to out-do us again. It was the most memorable moment we had at the straw poll and we laughed and joked about it for weeks afterwards.

That's an awesome story! :)
