General I think Obama is going to take us to Socialism... But I'm okay with that.

Last night was weird for me, I voted for Obama, but in the back of my mind when it was projected that Obama was going to win, it felt bittersweet, and I just couldn't figure out why... Then I thought back to all of the negativism or conservative talking points against Barack obama. He's a muslim(don't care), he's not a natural born(who cares?) His record is terrible(debatable) doubled the deficit(so did bush)

None of those things bothered me, I think conservatives lost touch with the real reason they didn't want obama to be president, he will bring our country to socialism. That was the sinking feeling that I had when he was projected to win. I know his vision and I know his stated intentions in the past. America is going to go through some big changes in the next 4 years whether we like it or not. I feel like America just lost it's identity last night with the reelection of obama, but seriously what else were we supposed to do?

With the NDAA and "Obamacare," I do think his record is pretty awful.

The only thing "better" about Obama is that he might not attack Iran...maybe. At least beyond covert actions. Seemed like that would be more of a possibility if Romney had won. However, that may simply make a false flag more of an appealing way to force Obama's hand.

I'm really torn on Obama not having to contemplate re-election. On one hand, we might see who he really is and while I think that I mostly won't like the results of that (gun banning? welfare increases?), maybe he'll grow a pair and stand up to jackasses like Netanyahu.

Don't have a lot of hope for that though. I just honestly don't know what the hell he actually believes in. A Constitutional lawyer who signs the Patriot Act and NDAA? So many contradictions.

I do think that we're going to see the democrats pulling all kinds of shit out of their asses that they've been sitting on and trying to force it through. I think the next four years need to be BIG pushes to ensure that the House republicans do the right thing and we hold them to the flames to make sure that as little gets through as possible. All that while keeping an eye on Rand and his potential 2016 run.

He wants to use the state to maintain the economic and political dominance of a very small elite minority, as is the modus operandi for all mainstream politicians. I think any of the approved contenders who got elected would not have much of a say in what is being implemented. In 2008, Obama probably believed he could get elected and actually do some of the things he campaigned on. But in the process of getting elected, he had to compromise with the Clinton people, the banks and the defense contractors. I could see him talking to his staff about closing Gitmo, then getting "told" that it's not gonna happen. As soon as he started naming Cabinet positions, I knew the fix was in. And then, even after going through the bailouts, he still had a very high approval rating, so in a move that makes no political sense whatsoever, starts pushing a healthcare bill that nobody wants.

All the stuff about him getting ready to become a dictator is coming from astroturfers like the Koch brothers. But really, you had 100 million people stand in line yesterday to pick which hood ornament they want on their master's car.

But he still can't spend money that they don't give him to spend. That's why he's complained so much about his jobs bill.
