Any body else have any laughable consequences of Americans getting what they deserve for their willful ignorance?

You make it sound like Americans follow human nature but the rest of the world doesn't. The only reason citizens of other countries aren't following in jumping off the cliff is because their governments haven't had the luxury of owning the world's reserve currency. When "prosperity" hits Eurozone nations thanks to expansion of easy credit, consumers in said countries will behave just like us.

At least I can still take great pleasure watching stupid Americans get foreclosed on in record numbers. I am laughing at watching household wealth destruction occurring on a massive scale with falling home prices. Autos being repossessed and credit card delinquencies soaring. Over 200 mortgage companies going bankrupt since the beginning of the year and tens of thousands of jobs lost. Massive amounts of people in the construction trades out of work and selling their tools to pawn shops just so they can eat. They deserve it for being so ignorant.

The silver lining is, hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens out of work. Hopefully they will self deport.

Mikewise, I feel ya bro!!! I can tell your ANGRY about the paper wealth ILLUSION that has exploded to critical mass!! Like you, Ive watched eveyday people SPEND WITH WRECKLESS ABANDONMENT like it is CHISTMAS every single day. IT IS SICKENING to see how freakin easy it is to just CHARGE everything, when you see the REALITY is when you whip out the funny fiat money and begin counting the bills out, especially with a big ticket item. All as a result of the rotten housing ATM bubble!!! Sorry to say this but your RIGHT!! I've met plenty of clients trying to be flippers/speculators and so gleefull about riding that equity then cashing out to move to a bigger house they can't really afford!!!!!!....RIDICULOUS and DESTRUCTIVE!!!! FAUX millionaries THINKING they are wealthy..BAH!!!! The people do have blame for going HOUSING HYSTERIA!!! You didn't OWN a home you were not wealthy!!! BAH BAH THEY like to FLAUNT it and be PROUD of it!!! Vaction like its the end of the world!!! I tell people I SAVE and I own nothing but GOLD and used to get ridiculed that it brings no return...BUY A HOUSE, INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET and TRAVEL!!! I will say it was perptrated by the FED and bubble vision but people were not FORCED to bite the bait for that easy credit. I'll say its like fishing and every fish that detects your bait, senses something wrong won't bite your bait, There is CHOICE envovled and most made the stupid one they will pay the price for YEARS now.... Meanwhile, people like mike and myself will CHERRY PICK the bargains to come for peoples wreckless spending lifestyles cause we SAVED UP for years now. We are waiting for a RETURN to reality with both feet on the ground to pick up the pieces that are left. Its maddness how the psychology got way out of hand to begin with to exploit a means of shelter. Heh, when its all said it done the word HOUSE shall be taboo in water cooler conversations and GOLD shall be REVERED!!!!!
