I need some very serious advice right now

Tough situation, but what if you just emailed the guy and asked "If I choose to make a contribution to a 3rd party candidacy, will company support be offered?"

It'll get your point across without using accusations.

Please, please don't email bomb them. They could find out who sent it, and this poor guy could suffer repercussions.

Personally, I wouldn't respond to this email. It just isn't worth it. You won't change their minds. Sometimes it's better not to say anything, specially when it comes to work.

Whatever you decide to do, first make 100% sure it won't affect your employment. You can do a lot more good, say, sending $5 a month of your paycheck to the Campaign for Liberty than getting into a squabble with your employer.

Just my opinion, of course. You are free to do as you wish.

Just *reply to all* (if thats not an option, just the sender) and let him know what you think. Peacefully and tactfully since your job is on the line.

If someone doesn't send it to Alex Jones, I will.

There is no possible way to connect it to anyone.

Depending on your mood, how much you are liked around the office, in with the managers etc... your value to the company.. I'd tactly contact the OP... but ESSENTIALLY; this guy is the VP. For COMCAST. Like seriously; his actions outline - he doesn't care WHO you vote for; as long as it is one of the EVIL parties. He obviously doesn't care which one you support; just as long IT IS ONE OF THEM. Trying to talk to him about it; IMO - won't do shit. It will just outline you are a not a brain dead slave, probably a libertarian and yeah. lol

If it is possible.... write a rousing speech in response to it; what America is about - why the two party system has failed - neither party represents the people... you don't have to vote for evil etc etc... have it pending to send to everyone.. then make your decision or whatever.

If all else fails, you can simply print out your response (at home) :D with gloves; hahaha... then pin them up in the toilet stalls... at least get the people in your office enlightened..

So that went to all comcast people? How many employees is that?

Completely for real. This is my welfare we're talking about and I would never fuck around about that.

I don't know if it is worth sacrificing your job or being targeted as a 'rogue employee' to make a point. That's totally up to you though. IF you email him, reference his comment about McCain or Obama, and ask if it would also be possible for him to also have third parties represented.

K...u work for THEM! understand THEY can do whatever the hell THEY want....soooooooo don't respond (someday this will all hopefully change)

yet as someone said b/4...if your id doesn't give u away -- let US help you {{{tee-hee-hee}}} it's MUCh better that way :)

Plus as someone else mentioned seeing as u work for comcast --hell-- i'd let alex know about this in a heartbeat!!!! comacast is NOT small peanuts--especially if doing this will not give YOU away ;)

THIS is exactly the type of thing we can do to network together....would be really nice if he didn't do a bcc ...so maybe a handful could send an e/m????

i say in this time....keep the job!!! do not respond!!!

the door does NOT swing both ways on this ....for now.

I have kept my politics out of my workplace forever. Where I work is where I make my money, and that is it. I love my coworkers, but have been reluctant to pass my views on to them. In my mind, before the past few days, our business and our politics just shouldn't mix.

I work for Comcast.

When I got back to Philly today, I checked my work email and found the following:

I want, and I need, to tell my fellow coworkers that there are other choices, but I don't want to become a bad seed and lose my job in the process.

I really need to know what to do right now. I don't know how to email the entire company, which I'm sure received the above email.

I'd been thinking of emailing "Mr VP" who sent the email (names have been changed), to allow me to address my fellow Comcasters, and let them know about the other parties that may be on their ballot.

I really don't know what to do. I have left politics out of my workplace, but my bosses are bringing politics into my workplace, and it's politics I don't agree with. I really need to know how to proceed with this. I'm really pissed about them forcing me to accept their two phony candidates, yet I want to excel in the company.

How would you procede. They started with the politics, not me.

Me and 3 others at my comcast donated to Ron Paul's Campaign. last month, all 3 of us lost our jobs. Out of the entire center in my town, just us 3. F Comcast.

Whoa wait a minute.... i had a job at comcast until about 2 months ago. They fired me for something against policy that we were never even trained on. this was just shortly after asking time off to go to the Rally for Republic.
