Help me vote for Ron Paul in the straw poll in New Orleans!

I need a place to sleep in New Orleans Friday and Saturday (4/9 and 4/10). Can bring my own sleeping bag and pillow if you can spare me a piece of your floor. Brief access to a shower in the morning would be a welcome bonus, but bare minimum I need is a place to sleep.

Torchbearer is asking around for me, but I'm posting here as well. I'm spending all of my available funds on a round trip Greyhound bus ticket so I can't afford a hotel room.

Thanks for the suggestion angelatc. Still nothing yet. I PMed bruehound yesterday. I know torchbearer is looking around for me too.

If I can't find a local to let me crash, are there any groups out there going to New Orleans that are already sharing a hotel that could take me on? I will contribute what I can towards the cost of the hotel.

I've already got my ticket to the event and transportation. I just need to resolve this nagging lodging problem.

Since there seems to be no offers on locals offering me a floor to sleep on, are there any other out of towners coming in for SRLC that already have a hotel that could take me in? I'll kick in what I can towards the cost of the hotel and I'll sleep on the floor.

Chip in created. My first one. Here are the details:

1. The funds will be used for an economy rate hotel such as Motel 6, Super 8, Econolodge, America's Best Value, etc. Hotel will be for Friday and Saturday night only.

2. Any Ron Paul supporter will be allowed crash space in the hotel room. No request for crash space will be refused.

3. If there are any funds left over after securing the hotel for Friday and Saturday night, these funds will be used to pay for campaign materials to be used at the conference.
