He has been saturated by the media for 8 years now. His opinions come not from reading what the people involved in the situation have to say, but from the television (maybe some radio). You have to break through that before you can get to him regarding any intellectual logical discussion.
He buys into all the crap Sean Hannity says about redialing and that Ron Paul won't be tough with terrorists. I pointed out numerous times that Osama is in Pakistan and he keeps saying Iraq is where the war is.
He's a blind follower of what the media tells him. He's the reason why our government has become so outrageously large.
Theres no hope for some of them, if you listen to some of these conservative radio shows you'll keep hearing these guys say that anybody who is against the war is just trying to divide the nation and supporting terrorism. Then comes the "they hate America", "they hate the soldiers", "liberals hate freedom" etc, I don't think theres any hope for these brainwashed people.
It may not be wise to post threads with title such as this hours before potential supporters come here based on Fox News coverage.
That aside, spread out the facts. If you can't provide those you need to research things for yourself first.
Give him a brief history lesson on iran and iraqq and our past intervention in middle eastern affairs. Then show him Reagan's quote on Ron Paul's military knowledge and support.

oh.. I am with you. I had a discussion with some punk on youtube... and he "just wans't getting it" -- its like they drank the magic juice and they are "neo-combies" (neo-con + zombies) hahahha.. I coined that myself, thank you!!!
But just like on the right, you have the same thing on the left... weird marxists/socialists that believe in a complete nanny government. It is SO WEIRD to me!
Anways, no matter what you say its like you are hitting a brick wall. Even if they concede that the News is wrong, they STILL will think they are right -- yeah, it truly is mind control.....
Its almost like if you MAKE THEM watch and read books like the NAU/Federal Reserve etc... then they start to get a glimmer of hope....
I think all you can do is say "watch these vids, read these books"... and just see if they do it...
