I just changed my voter registration in solace with the Ron Paul delegates

Here and the DP.

Hmm... you know, I wonder why Ron Paul is in the Republican party... Think he knows how to go about things? Nah...

I'm pretty sure Ron Paul ran as Libertarian in 1988 due solely to the B.S. that the National GOP was doing....

I have just changed my party affiliation from Republican to Libertarian in solace with those Ron Paul delegates who had their positions and voices stripped.

The GOP has disrespected the members who are the most ardent and vocal and its apparent that our votes and our presence is not welcome.

I have no interest in aligning myself with a corrupt party filled with crooks, thieves and those who are more concerned with an (R) in front of the persons name than they are about the future direction of this country. I for-one have no interest in associating myself with such a group.

I have changed my voter registration in solace with those Ron Paul delegates who are surely feeling a bit demoralized at the moment.

I challenge everyone here to visit your local Secretary of State website and attempt to change your voter registration online. The process only takes a minute and will send a loud and clear message to party big-wigs about the direction they have taken the party.

The GOP is dead. Join me in the mass exodus!

So you opt to strip your own voice? Way to play into their hands. You going back to watching Jersey Shore now?

Man the LP plants in this forum have been out in full force today.

And I'm not a troll. I've been extremely active in this movement since summer of 2007. I'm just totally disgusted and I want to spark a mass exodus from the Republican party. Nothing will send a clearer message than tens of thousands of members switching affiliation due solely to the cheating and rules changes that happened at this years convention.

So thanks for the name calling, but that's not me. Next time, just try asking the intentions of the OP....

Or the GOP plants, it's just a matter of perspective. The sooner some of you realize that, the better. We're all in this together, regardless of one's personal path.

in his defense, if everyone who supported liberty joined the LP, it would have its 15% and voice.
just saying.
as in, if everyone just voted for the person who most represented their beliefs, ron paul would be president.

I'm a security engineer for a large company. I specialize in identity theft and have for many years. I'm not stripping my voice. I'm just not an idiot who needs to post all the confidential information for the world to see. You may operate your life on the same lines as Todd Davis, but I choose to live a bit smarter than that.

GOP plants who encourage Paul supporters to inject their ideals into the party  I guess Dr. Paul is a GOP plant in some convoluted conspiracy theory...try wrapping your mind around that one!

I never understood the vulture mentality to swoop in at the first possible moment.

I'm remembering when Huntsman dropped out and some people here were saying 'let's go to his fan forum web page and get them to vote for Ron!'

I immediately winced but went over to see the damage.

The best response I remember from a Huntsman supporter was:

"Please give me your address so I can mail you my vomit."

Affa, am I remembering incorrectly, or didn't Ron Paul ask us just last night to stay in the Republican Party and make further inroads?

I am registering my discontent by changing my affiliation when I get a new license in October. The GOP cannot count me as one of their number. If there is a 10% reduction in their roll by November it is my hope they will understand why it is they lost the election.

Sorry but I just don't agree with this.

We aren't together if we can't unite under a single banner, we're just dissolving ourselves to two large minorities that can't get anything done.

I want to keep my Republican status so that when they crunch the numbers after the election there will be a greater spread between the number of registered Republicans and the number of people voting Republican. Part of the pay back.

Yes, he did....but I think for myself. Here's my take on it: Ron Paul is right about so much, he's almost perfect. I guess it's only natural that he has to be wrong about something, and (in my opinion) I believe he's wrong about this. As much as I respect him about 99.9% of everything else, I have to disagree with him about this.
