I first want to say that as much as I love Ron Paul, having Peter Schiff in the Senate is probably 10x better. No disrespect, but Peter is a bulldog. He will eat politicians alive. And he never shuts up. Which is a good thing for a politician on OUR SIDE.

I can imagine enormous controversy surrounding Peter. He will say things that will shock the average person and give every liberal a heart attack or anger management issues. There will be a huge divide between people that love Peter Schiff (us) and people that absolutely hate him and will make threats toward his life and his livelihood. He will not conform, he will not back down.

Schiff is the man. Let us take a moment to recognize his awesomeness.

With the primary in August, he would need more than 10 mil, and even then, I'm afraid he'd have to strike lucky in a very big way to have a realistic chance at beating McMahon.

I'm not asking for failure - I'm just being realistic by this point. Believe me: I agree that phonebanking is very important. I've been doing it for months, and have made threads encouraging this be done more often. But we need a media blitz unlike anything the grassroots are capable of handling here in Connecticut. It's that dire at this stage of the game.

Yeah, I posted a thread of a very similar manner a few weeks ago with an abysmal response.

Most of the supporters here, for some reason, don't really feel the whole phonebanking thing that much.

LOL, me too! Thats so weird, but im starting to realize it's slowly coming true. I deliver Ice all over CT and I have 10x more schiff signs/bumper stickers than linda ones. Wehave a real effin chance.
