I decided to sue him because he told me I was too fat to work for him and it hurt me

I would let him sell frames for me, but hey , that is just me ....

The Daily Mail article says the owner claims he wouldn't fit between the aisles.

I pick on everybody!

Equal opportunity asshole here...

Yes, me too. I'm just picking on the people who alternate between demanding lifestyle acceptance for some oddballs and rabidly attacking others.

In addition, I support the right of the business owner to not hire and freely fire anybody he darned well chooses.

There are actually medications that can cause this type of problem. That said, it should be the company's call.

Amen!
For any reason under the sun or no reason whatsoever.
Sue that fatboy!

I think he looks happy and friendly. I guess it's ok to mock him if he's fat, but not if he's gay?

Mocking AMERICANS for making the CHOICE to eat lots of fast-food and avoid exercise is a long-running meme backed by statistics, though on an individual level, it should be noted that some people can't help weight gain or being 'fat' due to thyroid problems or medications which enhance an increase in body fat. Feeling attraction for someone of the same gender isn't a choice nor is it a disease, however. I don't mock overweight people myself, I actually think the world would be a little boring without weight diversity.

And you sir need to be picked on for being to damn politically correct! ;)

I mean, it's fine to laugh about homosexuality, race, weight, etc. in the proper context. 'Racist' jokes are actually my favorite kind! But if we're speaking about respect for individuals in real-life situations, I won't sit there and talk smack about someone just for being overweight, for example. S'all I'm sayin'.

SO you're trying to explain why it's ok to mock some people but not others? Seriously?

I feel pretty bad for heavy people, that being said I wouldn't hire someone who was three ladder climbs away from a heart attack either.

Then again, I do not hire, maybe that is why.

Some oddballs? Half the country is now fat!

Obesity is becoming the norm. It's not a lifestyle choice, it's an early death sentence. We need to opose it through whatever means necessary, easpecially with socialized heathcare. These people are going to be an enormous burden on the system--and that is precisely why "fat" is being normalized in the television culture, with more and more protagonists being obese: the oligarchs want the people to be sick, and they want everybody to get poorer paying for it.

The bolded statements contradict one another.
