Everyone, I am so grateful to those of you who donated to my chipin for CPAC. I had my bags just about packed and everything lined out to go if I had enough money raised by Wednesday, and the bottom fell out on me.

My driving partner can't go, we have 8 1/2 inches of snow and more on the way, and I have found out I have some meetings here in KY that I absolutely cannot miss on Thursday. It all slammed me at once, and I am just heartbroken that I will have to miss CPAC this year.

You might want to let Steve Bierfield at C4L know who is getting it, so there is no issue with different name badges when your friend picks them up (I've never been asked for ID at one of those things when I came and gave my name for a prepurchased ticket, but who knows?)

PayPal refunds typically just go to the original sender's PayPal account, not his bank. If you want it to go to the bank you have to transfer the funds.

Christina, I would suggest that you definitely try to contact Campaign For Liberty about giving your ticket to someone else.

Here's what they said in their recent email:
"Please also remember that you must personally pick up your ticket from the C4L booths. We are unable to permit individuals to pick up the tickets for friends, family, or other members of their group. Each person is permitted only to collect his/her individual CPAC ticket. We also want to ensure another individual does not claim the ticket you purchased, so please be prepared to show a license or student ID when picking up your credentials."


Oh, and if anyone got funds refunded, you might consider donating to my efforts to give out RP 2012 stickers to supporters to wear at CPAC to increase Ron's presence:

The C4L tickets were sold out when I got mine, and I've already taken care of the transfers...it's all good!!

Check your paypal - your refund should show up in your balance and you can transfer it right back to your bank account.
