I began crying.

Thirty minutes in, I began to cry.

Hard to pinpoint the particular emotion that brought it on, mostly anger...but it was a feeling of sheer desperation and hopelessness. Like a newborn, I sat watching Ron up there and could do absolutely nothing about it.

How has he gone on this long without losing his cool?

Beyond me...

We are all the same way....

Ron Paul... what a man.

OMG DID WE OWN THE DEBATE OUTSIDE.

It was all-time Ron Paul ownage.

Pics shortly.

Like Jon4Ron said, we're up against a control machine beyond comprehension.

But, it lightens my heart to talk with everyone here. The control machine is losing its grip on us. We have broken free, and if we continue the fight, we can set more free, and more, until we are all independent and liberated from its clutches. Then we will restore the Constitution and Freedom will reign again.

This is a long-term struggle, don't give up the fight. Ron Paul won't.

Enough...I'm mostly pissed at the MSM not the performance of our good Dr. This shoudl be no surprise to anyone that he is/has been treated unfairly. Get use to it because this isnt the end of it either. I guess that was my weakness tonight was in thinking the MSM would be more balanced now that the ghoul has dropped out. I was wrong. This makes me fight harder than ever before, WE are up against the MURDOCK MACHINE people its ALL uphill but we will hold the high ground!
The Battle Rages On !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

There's nothing new about this, although it's new to many of us seeing it for the first time. Ron Paul witnessed the machine's rise to power, the destruction of his party, and the destruction of his country. Imagine how he must feel. He saw it was nobody else was seeing it.

But what does he say about it? It is *us, his supporters, * that gives him hope. He never expected he would find us out here.:)

. To me, it was when he attempted to answer the earlier question and AC promised to give him the chance. When he was cut off by AC a little bit later....can't even believe it.

We invest a lot of ourselves into this campaign. It means a lot to us. We work all weekend, canvass, discus with our neighboors. We do this because it is important. This is not something silly thing like rooting for a favorite football team. We are fighting for the very essence of our liberty in the Republic.

I want so much to be optimistic. To believe that there is good out there. That the "establishment" is not so evil that it would ignore and smirk (a la McClinton) at the message of freedom.

To see this kind of thing happen before our eyes is tragic.

The best part about your post in my eyes is that you didn't directly blame Ron for AC's heinous and intentional misbehavior. I am a clinical psychologist, and if I were in Ron's shoes, I honestly do not think I would be able to contain my anger.

I disagree that he didn't do a good job in the debate. After all, if he came out whining or combative at ACia, ACia would have embarrassed him even more. One of his final points where he essentially cast a shadow of immaturity on Romney, McCain, and the nature of the moderator follow-ups--- that was beautiful. My friend who was watching Fox's Coverage called and told me to switch channels. Frank Luntz had done a focus group-- and one woman was very clearly persuaded to look more into Ron Paul after seeing McShame and Hairspray argue like little children. Luntz quickly shifted away from her-- but you could tell that the Dr. made a difference. And that was broadcast on Faux!

We will always outnumber every little neocon cog in that control machine. We always outnumber them.

You people must be crazy! Four years ago I got to vote for the first time in my life. So I started looking at all the candidates, and I couldn't become a republican because the supported the patriot act, so I became a democrat for about 3 days. Until I realized they were against gun rights, and were complete socialists. So I voted for the libertarians. During that time I was the only libertarian I knew until I converted a few people on the interwebz. Watch that Morton Downy JR. Video. Look at all those young little fascists. That's why ron was so amazed that the young people flocked to his campaign. Whatever you may say, we're making headway here, more and more people are seeing the MSM and our huge oppressive government for what they really are. This was never really about winning the presidency for me though, it was about planting the seeds of liberty in peoples minds, about waking them up from their ignorance about the MSM and the Federal Reserve. Each day he stays in he wakes up more and more people.

and no ron shouldn't have cut in and continued speaking, that would make him look like an ass. He acted like a complete gentleman and that will gain him more respect than had he butted in.

yes it is hard...I feel you - we are being cheated daily and it is so obvious to us...but the sheep do not notice....our support is growing, bt we are censored, ignored, and lauged at...it aint easy...but I for one am in it to win it.....I will never give up on Dr. Paul

....i have a little brother in iraq
sorry dear cinderella, Very sorry 'bout that!

Remember Dr Paul says WE are the campaign!!It is important to channel the frustration into something useful. Make a list of the most useful things you can do this week to further the campaign and then DO IT!!

We had a Meet-up group in Auckland NZ tonight. It is summer, there were four of us and all of us were saying "God how much we would love to be there to put our backs into getting more people turned on to the wonderfulness of Dr Ron Paul." Here we are stuck in NZ and you have all these wonderful opportunities.

We would do almost anything to be there right now so please please do not waste your time! Get organized, commit yourselves and work tirelessly. It is a Biiiiig Evil we are all up against. Do you really expect Emporer Palatine to roll over and let you scratch him on the stomach?

Yeah Right!!

P.S. I just saw CNN where they depicted Paul as being vague. And they say the camera never lies. Editors certainly do!

I think he may just be an evolved man who has a better understanding of the forces he's up against than any of us. He's learned not to allow his energy to be wasted on negative reactions to difficult circumstances. Plus being ignored is an asset to an extent ... it earns a certain street cred and means the ones doing the ignoring are starting to feel more threatened! They can't restrain themselves from being more and more blatant.

Goodness is Priceless

The incredibly selfless and noble answer Dr. Ron Paul gave when asked about why he would be a better leader had a powerful emotional impact on me and I had tears in my eyes. He used his time to educate them on their lack of understanding on the duties of a president. If people can’t see the doctor’s honesty and honorability then they probably have a limited view of life.

Does anyone even watch these debates besides us?

Not really. And Ron's big support won't come from people who watch Hannity, either.

It's going to come from regular people... the kind who understand the drug war is wrong and ineffective, but don't know they have a way to stop it. It's going to come from people who understand the erosion of civil liberties as a problem, but didn't know they could affect change. It's going to come from people who understand that there's no reason to send money to the feds and let them dole a portion back to us. These people are EVERYWHERE. They just don't know they have a choice, because they've never really had one before.

We will always outnumber every little neocon cog in that control machine. We always outnumber them.
Yes, and that's why I can't understand why we can't assert ourselves. Numbers equal money and money talks. The media will never play fair until we make them. Look what it took for Glen Beck to finally have Ron Paul on and give him an honest interview. It tooks him being afraid of our numbers and our clout. We have clout, but we can't pull ourselves together long enough to use it. Every idea for doing something tangible is shot down or dismissed out of hand. Good god, we have the power in our hands and we are letting these people push us around. No one has remotely the real support that Ron Paul has and we do nothing with it. We can make them hear us if we want to.

BillyDkid, it's not that we have done nothing with our clout, this is just the beginning. No matter what happens to Ron Paul, we need to be united and continue talking on forums like this and planning the way forward.

But, it's true we haven't done enough and we haven't organized like we should. We should consider this practice, we'll get better every time.

If Ron Paul doesn't run as a Libertarian or Independent, we need to insist that Rand Paul take up the torch and run. He is younger and better able to endure the rigors of the campaign trail. If Rand Paul doesn't want to, we need to find someone else, maybe someone from this site even. We'll keep working to keep pushing our movement forward, and eventually we'll have this election stuff down and polished and nothing will be able to stop us.

Demoralized

It saddens me, too. I had a dream last night I was arguing foreign policy with McCain (and I woke up with a terrible kink in my neck from the stress of it all)! Got up, read the usual 'Paul is a loon, Paul should not be at any more debates' bs.

Drove the kids to their charter schools, and while listening to Mike Church vehemently defend Paul, and take the 4th Estate and the establishment to task, I started crying.

I am utterly demoralized (not by Paul, because he has come so far despite the MSM blackout and the abuse he, and the millions of people who support him, take from it, the other candidates and the GOP) but for this crumbling Republic and its denizens' dumb and deaf ears. I fear for the future of this country, because of the enemy within it, not because of some small group of rock throwing, backward, fanatical barbarians in the ME.

This country is going to hell in a hand basket and it feels like Paul is the only one refusing to help them all carry it.

His best moment of the campaign was last night when he called McRomney out on their silliness and laid out his foreign policy position and called for a debate on that. I hope and pray the electorate was listening.

Mike has a great essay up today on his website:

You'll speak when spoken to sir!

To make myself feel better, I will make some Calls 4 Paul today. Tonight, I'm going to get good and drunk.

Careful, guys. I notice that a certain anti-Ron Paul blog is now using what we say here and taking screenshots of these threads to try to make us and Ron Paul look like retards.

I won't give the URL to prevent increasing direct hits to said blog.
