I am POed. Jeremiah Black TV Ads in iowa dying for lack of funding?

Guys, I just gave another $20, because I really like these ads, but before you think that HQ is so lame and they are doing nothing, please read the email I just received from my cousin in Des Moines. I asked him what was going on there and this is what he said...

"There's a big Ron Paul billboard down the road from my
house, and all the TV channels are swamped with
campaign ads. But you'd be surprised with how few
people actually talk about politics and the upcoming
election. I guess they just take it for granted that
Iowa goes first. I'm not sure what would appeal to
the the rural Iowa crowd, probably whatever keeps the
price of corn and soybeans high, but around suburban
Des Moines people really like convenience and the
status quo."

We are getting there. Need another 3000. Must have it by tonight. Some of you have been so generous. You are amazing people. Thank you so very much.

And it is a little scary donating to an unknown or little known PAC, wondering if they are for real or just a good con.

They are for real. This particular PAC is run by Skiingff (Brandon). He has run a number of newspaper ads in New Hampshire with this PAC, a TV ad in New Hampshire and all six of these ads are currently going in central Iowa. What we are donating for right now, is to get at least minimal coverage in eastern Iowa. The campaign has done little to nothing in east Iowa, at this point and several of the supporters have asked us to step up.

YAY!

Thank you so much for donating, all of you.

It is Christmastime and that means money is tight for most of us.

These ads are SO good, it would be a real shame if we were unable to make enough to get them on the air.

The website says that the Iowa deadline has ended, and it's only around $12k. Does this mean the ads won't go through at all? What's the $15k minimum for? I thought it was just suggested.

Edit:

Actually the website says they already have the $15k! There's two different graphs - one for Iowa airtime, another for More Iowa airtime. The second with $12k is the one that donations are going to. The first is already at $15k.

Iowa airtime graph (full at $15,060 w/139 contributors) on left:

More Iowa airtime graph ($12,101.07 out of $15k wanted - 80%, with 153 contributors) on left:

So donating is fine, but the deadline's come and it's not urgent for Iowa. Give to NH (13% - deadline Dec 26), SC (1% - Jan 1) or MI (0% - Jan 1) instead.

Even though the chip-in says it has ended, you can still donate through it, or by using Google checkout at the bottom of the web page. The drop dead day for purchasing the ads for Iowa is tomorrow. That is why the money has to be raised tonight. The more money that is raised, the better, but from what I have been told, 15K is the minimum to do an ad buy. If we raise more than this, more ad time can be purchased and more of the ads will be cycled in eastern Iowa.

This is exactly what i was talking about... everybody wants to do money bombs and give Ron all the money. He already said he's having a hard time trying to figure out what to do with all the money.

HELP SUPPORT THE REVOLUTION.....SUPPORT THE TROOPS IN THE FIELD.....THE TROOPS OF THE REVOLUTION.....THEY ARE DYING OF NEGLECT......AND IT'S OUR FAULT!!!
