I am POed. Jeremiah Black TV Ads in iowa dying for lack of funding?

Rearden,

I'm sure they'd like nothing better than to make the ad buy for New Hampshire tomorrow. But, we are quite aways from having the money to do it. Please help spread the word that donations are needed for these ads. www.OperationNH.com

Personally I think its ridiculous that we raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for a blimp, but can't fund these ads.

sigh.

A couple of suggestions for Operation New Hampshire:

1) Create a small clickable banner on your site for people to download to their MySpace or RP Websites.

2) Fix the broken link on your home page navigation menu (called "Link".) People will doubt your legitimacy if the site has obvious problems.

3) On your home page, start with a short explanation of who you are and what you are doing. Don't assume that visitors know what "ChipIn" means.

4) Clearly state a specific plan on your Website that describes exactly what you will be doing with the donations. You currently have a link to a Word file, but most people are not going to download that.

I'll try to add a banner for you on the Ron Paul Library. We get about a 1,000 visitors a day, most of them are new to Paul's campaign (referrals from Google searches.)

If you need help with your Website, a simple post here will probably get you some excellent graphics or web design help.

I've also sent this message to your contact email.

I plug this everywhere I go. I wish there was a banner at the top of the forums, they have one for every other project. OperationNH is the BEST. This is the only concerted effort so far to air our grassroots ads all over the country...we have to support them!

This is the first I'm hearing of it, and I like it and will donate.

You're right, it needs better advertising. What should we do? We all know the grassroots ads are better than the official campaigns, it's important.

I think the suggestions that RonPaulLibrary made are very good ones. If Brandon (Skiingff), the owner of www.OperationNH.com website agrees, and makes those changes, and if some of you wouldn't mind creating some banners linking back there and posting them everywhere, we might really make some real progress.

Thing is, we need to do this very fast.

Why can't HQ just by the damn ads for themselves?? 50k is peanuts to them...

AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE??

if you all say they need to hire jeremiah blacks tv ad agency they probably would be challenged to.

let them know.

Local groups said no in iowa but they dont hold the purse strings of Mr. Benton

60 second ad

What are you talking about? Where does he say that we've lost the ability to show the 60 second ad? It's the one we really need to be showing the most.

Pardon me, this must be info I got from DailyPaul, which I linked to in my first message. And perhaps "lost" is the wrong word. I think they said that the TIME slot either wasn't available any more or had become so coveted, due to the proximity to the caucus, that it was insanely expensive and would require a LOT more money than this $15K. In either case, they aren't - or weren't - going to use the 60 second ad.

Yeah, it is unfortunate. Hopefully, digesting the problem further, will result in action very soon to dramatically increase the visibility of the problem to the grassroots. I don't think we - grassroots - are going to let these things go unfunded when the amounts being required are so relatively tiny compared to what HQ takes in even on its worst days...and a drop compared to a money bomb day.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this already but those ads are too white. They should have put a black person and a hispanic person in there along with all the good looking white people. Yeah having to be politically correct sucks but it is necessary.

Paul these demographics are planned for later shoots and were discussed on previous posts.

The http://www.operationnh.com/ donation buttons are NOT working.

I just tried to donate using both the PayPal and Google buttons but neither of them worked.

I use the FireFox browser (Version 2.0.0.11)

Well, I am using Firefox too and I just tried donating again with Chip-in, when I saw this post of yours. It took my donation, just fine. Note: I am using the same version of Firefox, as you are.

Geez...wonder which campaign sent that idiot over here with that insightful post? Sorry you even had to see something like that, sir.

Geronimo was probably just tired. He's a good guy and works hard for Dr. Paul. He was mistaken on this though, but c'mon, his heart was in the right place. Let's please just cut him some slack.

Hold off on circulating this stuff until the buyer has a final chance to look at items.

The discussion was on NH where the CABLE channels werent excepting 60 second ads.
