One thing we can all agree on is that this Country is going down this shitter fast. What happens? Nobody knows. What do wise people do before shit hits the fan? Wise people are already prepared; they have plan a,b,c,d & e. Well before stuff hits the fan. IM surrounding myself with 1,000s of like minded people in a Liberty friendly environment.

I live in Texas now but in the spring of 2013 I am making a move across country to New Hampshire, here is why.

Free State Project is a geopolitical movement to attract 20K libertarians/small government/liberty lovers/activists to the State of New Hampshire, where they'll work towards less government intrusion in their lives. FSP motto is "Liberty in Our Lifetime," and mascot is the porcupine, which is a peaceful creature who will defend itself if necessary. Bring productive people from all walks of life, race, color, creed etc. Movers work in-the-system (politics), outside the system (civ dis), and through free market economics and agorism. Oftentimes the civ dis gets more attention because by its very nature it makes for more dramatic news/easier to get coverage, but the in-the-system folks are making huge strides (20+ FSP participants now state reps, helped cut budget by 12%/$1 billion dollars, serve on school boards, budget committees, work on pro-liberty legislation like jury nullification etc), as are all the businessmen and women who are moving here as part of FSP and creating jobs.

Groovy things about New Hampshire

Texas weather sucks. Cold Nov-Feb, Hot ass hell June-Sept. ...New Hampshire has a cold winter but May-Sept is amazing and October colors are eye candy.

No Income tax
No Sales tax
Best Internet Access in Nation
Most Affordable State to Own a Car
Car insurance optional
No knife laws
No seat belt or helmet laws
Jury nullification now enshrined in NH (first state ever).
New Hampshire constitution forbids the use of eminent domain to transfer land from one private party to another.
A New Hampshire court has found filming on-duty police officers to be a constitutionally-protected right.
New Hampshire spends the least amount of tax-payer money on higher education of any state.
The New Hampshire constitution enshrines the right to keep and bear arms. OpenCarry.org.
Open carry is legal everywhere in New Hampshire outside of a courthouse. No permit is necessary.
Concealed carry permits are provided on a shall-issue basis for ten dollars. No training is necessary.
In 2010, New Hampshire had the highest median household income of any state. The Census Bureau via CNN.
In 2011, New Hampshire had the fourth-lowest unemployment rate of any state.
The New Hampshire state motto is "Live Free or Die." The NH General Court.
New Hampshire's 400+ legislators are paid just $100 per year. The National Conference of State Legislatures.

And so much more! Why are you not making plans to join the Free State Project and move to New Hampshire?

I have a job. I am a CT/Bartender at a very large restaurant chain. There are a few in New Hampshire. I plan to transfer. My wife cleans houses; we have our own little maid service so we plan to continue that up there. We are very simple people. We want to have liberty, peace and happiness in life and we don't mind getting involved to make that happen.

Sad to see you leave KMX. Texas shouldn't be losing liberty minded folks; though y'all can keep our neocons and liberals.

Congrats. I have a conservative friend who moved up here from Texas and he loves NH.

I want to start looking at property up there. What area is most central to the FSPers? I can work anywhere as can the hubs.

William how come you are leaving?

I am leaving Texas because i only moved here for the purpose to save money and assist family issues. This will help my transition to NH because i will have more money and have a shorter drive (lived in Boise, ID before Texas).

I've been considering this for a couple of years, does anyone know how construction is there?

Anyone thought about moving? After this election is over shitt is going to hit the fan. Surround yourself with 1,000s of like mided people. ;0)

I'm already a member of the Freestate project, maybe over a year or more now. But I am currently in college, plan to move after.

Awesome, you can chalk around your campus if you want.

Where are you at now and what are you wanting to do for work?

I'm also planning on moving to New Hampshire in March.

I want to spend the rest of the fall figuring out where exactly though so I can start looking for work.

Awesome, I will be there in the spring as well. What part are you thinking?
