Hyperinflationary Depression 2010 - Interview with John Williams, April 12, 2008

Just finished listening. It was a great interview, very informative. Too bad they dn't seem to know about Ron Paul.

I have been listening to this show for the past several months and the host has brought up Ron Paul several times.
Well, they didn't seem to view him as even a slim enough possibility to mention him. They went into discussion about a strong 3rd party showing in 2012 as if there is absolutely no one else in the picture right now.

I couldnt get those links to work

I get this error message

Codec is missing
Windows Media Player cannot play the file (or cannot play either the audio or video portion of the file) because the Microsoft MPEG-1 (50) codec is not installed on your computer.

The missing codec might be available to download from the Internet. To search for the Microsoft MPEG-1 (50) codec, see WMPlugins.com.

I followed the link and it couldnt find the correct codec......

After that I tried the additional links to hour 2 with Jim Willams and instead they took me to hour 3......whats up? I'm using windows vista.....are those of you that can hear the correct interview not using windows vista? I'm gonna search for the correct codec on my own now, without microsoft's help

Forget what I asked.....Just open the M3U file with winamp once you save it.....problem solved.........

They both know of Ron Paul very well, even personally.

I came up with the same conclusions as they have but I'd probably push the date back a little bit. 2010 seems way too soon. But who knows, anything is possible. I just don't buy the whole deflation argument some people are pushing, especially with the amount of debt we have, the upheaval the government would face if it simply decided not to keep its promises, and the fact that we have Ben's word about him creating inflation by helicopter drops to fight any deflationary pressures. Some people will say "but look at the numbers." It's obvious to anyone who has a brain that Fed is messing around with figures and accounting, although I would agree that other banks aren't lending and are deleveraging which is deflationary. I don't know if it will actually come to a hyperinflation, but I think it will definitely be inflationary. I could see a global currency proposed in the end also, I don't think it will garner great support. I think that's decades away still.
