They both know of Ron Paul very well, even personally.
I came up with the same conclusions as they have but I'd probably push the date back a little bit. 2010 seems way too soon. But who knows, anything is possible. I just don't buy the whole deflation argument some people are pushing, especially with the amount of debt we have, the upheaval the government would face if it simply decided not to keep its promises, and the fact that we have Ben's word about him creating inflation by helicopter drops to fight any deflationary pressures. Some people will say "but look at the numbers." It's obvious to anyone who has a brain that Fed is messing around with figures and accounting, although I would agree that other banks aren't lending and are deleveraging which is deflationary. I don't know if it will actually come to a hyperinflation, but I think it will definitely be inflationary. I could see a global currency proposed in the end also, I don't think it will garner great support. I think that's decades away still.
