Legal scholar Jonathan Turley has called for a special counsel to be appointed to investigate allegations of influence-peddling against Democrat President Joe Biden and his family members.
Turley has joined the growing chorus calling for investigations after several left-wing corporate media outlets recently confirmed that Hunter Biden’s “Laptop from Hell” is genuine.
The George Washington University Law School professor is pressing Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint a special prosecutor to probe the Biden family business for links with the president’s political career.
Turley said the “demonstrably false” statement from the White House, that Hunter Biden never made money in China, makes “the positions of both the media and Attorney General Merrick Garland absolutely untenable.”
“We absolutely stand by the president’s comment,” White House communications director Kate Bedingfield said earlier this week as she reaffirmed that President Biden maintains his son Hunter Biden did “nothing [that] was unethical” and never “made money” in China.
“Those claims appear demonstrably false — and they make the positions of both the media and Attorney General Merrick Garland absolutely untenable,” Turley writes.
“Influence peddling has long been the way Washington’s elite enriches itself,” the law professor continues.
“This common source of political corruption involves the relatives of powerful government figures who shake down corporations or countries for access and influence.
“The Bidens would seem to be standouts in this common practice, engaging in a virtual family business.

By the way, this is the real way the election was "stolen." Not by the claptrap Q-anon conspiracy theories about Venezuela and voting machines that have been used by both Republicans AND Democrats to alter votes. But by information suppression! 60% of the people who voted for Joe Biden said they might have voted differently if they had known about the laptop. That means that Trump would have won by such an overwhelming majority that stealing the election through other means would have been impossible.

Christopher Phillips (the student) torched Brian stelter. I did a quick google search thinking the left would be attacking Christopher calling him a ring winger and so forth, but I found nothing. I even search Reddit to find hatred for this kid, again I found nothing.
I like this kid Christopher Phillips. He is the type of young man you want your son to be and the type of guy you want your daughter to marry. This kid has a very bright future and I wish him the best.

I wouldn't count Dotcom out so quickly. He got ambushed by the Leviathan almost 10 years ago and went submarine since then. He doesn't strike me as the "forgive and forget" type. He might not be in the same weight-class as Elon Musk, but he's stupid rich and well-connected, especially in the tech world. The Leviathan smashes everything in its path but sometimes it's the smallest animal that packs the biggest punch. I'm not going to bet the farm on Dotcom, but I'm curious to see what comes out of this. I would like to have seen a pre-commit hash.
