Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has died at 71 years old, TMZ Sports has learned.

Medics were dispatched to the 71-year-old WWE icon's Clearwater, Florida home early Thursday morning ... with operators stating it was regarding a "cardiac arrest."

He's in some of my absolute earliest memories as a child. I remember him wrestling Andre the Giant and my little 4-year-old mind literally thought Andre was going to murder him on live TV. I was legit terrified. I'd go hide in the other room then come back to the living room to see if Hulk Hogan was still alive...



RIP ... he was a believer, may his soul rest in Jesus...

I was not expecting this one. Hulk Hogan was one of my childhood heroes. I'm very seldom shocked or moved by unexpected celebrity deaths, but there have been some that hit me pretty hard: Kevin Smith of Hercules and Xena fame, Steve Irwin, and now Hulk Hogan.
