Huckabee

Thompson did the best when he managed to keep his eyes open.

Seriously, Thompson embarrassed himself out there.

No.

Huckabee looked like the retard he is.

If anyone looked decent, besides our hero of course, it was Romney. I thought he clothes lined McCain on a couple issues and McCain looked stooopid with his childish remarks..

Huckabee did have the best one liner with his "which one.." comment to Romney. Good for us and it might have taken Romeny's otherwise strong perfomance down a notch.

Rudi looked bad, Thompson was unprepared for the Amnesty question...

HUckabee...you mean the socialist in Republican clothing???okay just checking...You are way wrong!!!

What's up with the whole billion for a car??? Be real!!! If you build it they will come. That is a free market. Who the heck is going to be footing the bill for that incentive? Oh yeah, US!!!

Don't even get me started on his well care...Yeah, just what I want. Go read 1984 again. It is straight out of there. Wake up and exercise. Oops missed your well care check up...you owe the government a zillion dollars.

Huckabee won, oh please! Go back over to Huck's Army...enjoy their version of free speech!

Actually, I'm pretty sure anyone could build a 100mpg car right now. The question is, would it actually be useful? Or you could just spend $10M buying super expensive components that would allow 100mpg.

Huck sounded like a complete moron when he started talking about how the illegals would leave on their own with their heads held high in the air. How any one thought he did well is beyond me.

are u on crack? huckabee dint get anytime at all. RP gave a great impression today. second is fred thompson

I'll give whoever builds the miracle car like a BILLION dollars.

Miracle cars have been built more than once. The inventors either sell their patents to big business or have an 'accident'.

Check out the documentary Who Killed the Electric Car?

Huckabee sounded god, by stealing ron's ideologies, Huckabee never mentioned the constitution and local government in previous debates. He hired a CFR campaign manager, he's pro-war, huckabee has no chance against the democrats if he is nominated, Ron does have a chance

Stop trolling for Huckabee.

I've been a Ron supporter since '97 and he's one of my heros, but Huckabee dominated the time and with the exception of making a bad joke, 'won' the dog & pony show.

Ron didn't fight for his fair share of time, and missed a buttload of opportunities to differentiate himself from the rest. He should have spoken with authority on the Health Care issue (instead Romney did), and he could have expounded more on inflation and how he's the ONLY candidate with a plan (or even the slightest idea) on how to deal with it.

He was way too nice and reflective. This wasn't a dinner table for crying out loud!

we all watched as fans...trying to think as a non fan and what would stand out is he threw out ideas. the gold standard and the golden rule. when he said gas compared to gold hasn't changed...my jaw hit the floor. I think he did well...I don't know who won...i'm a ron paul supporter and made a shit ton a banners today for January 8th-9th...so I have a skewed view but I would at least say he did well and was respectful and at least made you think. I do wish the press would give him a little more credit and time.

Amused to see everyone parrot Ron's belief system in the Constitution and paying "lip service" to such. Oh my.

He's too nice and gentlemanly but there is no way Huckabee won that debate. The man never spoke unless he was spoken to!

Ron killed them all at the end in such a way that they all sat there dumbfounded.

Huckabee was acting like he wasn't there! Huck lost this debate BIG TIME! He might have won Iowa, but he is clearly going to lose in the long run.

Was Fuckabee even there? Dr. Paul did so-so. Fred Thompson did the best.

Fred Thompson came off as the folksy clown that still knows nothing. Remember, he said you get to keep the money you earn unless the government can make a case for spending it better than you can.

Even the post-debate commentators agreed that Huckabee had a poor showing because he got lost in the mix and failed to assert himself.

Ron Paul was RIGHT. Huckabee was WRONG.

So, Huckabee may have come across as the nice puppy-dog eyes guys. But Ron still came across as the Intellectual of the group.

How does this get him votes?

Being right doesn't matter. This is politics. It's all about image and soothing blather.

I mean, why the hell do you think Obama is so popular?!

Ron came across as a nice guy, not a President.

Huck kept saying "The president should do whatever is best" the only actual policy he suggested was the $1000000000 incentive. He just talked himself in circles mostly.
