"Huckabee broke"

Less than a month after a huge upset victory, and promises that fundraising would be ramped up, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is asking his senior staff to keep working for him without pay, while lower level campaign staff are seeing their salaries cut dramatically or eliminated altogether.

unfortunately that doesn't necessarily mean he'll drop out or lose votes. The media's got his back.

The media will give him all the airtime he needs...

But it is pathetic how little he is raising considering the fact that he is a "frontrunner"

Just so you guys know, the press contingent following him around has reduced dramatically. So much that they've also cut out the "Press bus" and "Press plane" from their expenditures, the reporters now have to fend for themselves.

From the linked article:

"The goal is to get a leaner, meaner campaign structure moving into Super Tuesday," says a senior campaign adviser.

Leaner and meaner?

I guess you could probably make your staff meaner by cutting and/or eliminating their pay.

Good news since this makes him look like he's nearly out of the race and he's a sinking ship. It's gonna cost him votes however he spins it.

Ho ho.

Pete

I think we can come out of Super Tuesday with 200+ delegates... which is 10% of the total needed... sure we will be behind... but if everything is fractured between Mitt, Mike, Rudy, & McCain... and we have our home state 140 delegate texas coming up... we can continue to make a lot of noise.

Iowa- 2 delegates *(note due to our active caucus delegates we might end up with more than 2)
Nevada 4 delegates *(note due to our active caucus delegates we might end up with more than 4)
Louisiana 47 delegates
Maine 20 delegates... say we get 10 of them
Alaska (where we are polling #1) 29 delegates
Hawaii... caucus... 20 delegates
California has 27 highly democratic congressional districts... we are focusing on them and should be able to win 15 of them = 45 delegates
Montana... caucus 25 delegates say we win 15 of them

Other states that apportion delegates e.g. IL (remember NV since we can campaign everywhere and other candidates can't we have a great shot at picking up lots of 2nds and 3rds) min 40

=210 delegates out of ~1250 so far with another 850 to be decided.

Bydlak message:

P.S. For those of you who haven't heard, Mike Huckabee's campaign is broke. Don't let the same thing happen to Ron Paul. After all, where else would Mike Huckabee get all of his ideas? Contribute today!
:D

Go Paul.

fred thompson was big in illinois. now i suspect romney will be our stiffest competition there... lots of big busines types who like him...

If he doesn't win any of the Southern states on Super Tuesday, he'll drop out. He might prove to be the Pat Robertson of this election year.
