this is great news about mitt.. Dr.Paul needs to stay in untill convention.
90 days ago rudy was king, and McCain was dead... now rudy is gone and mitt is to, with McCain on top.
In the next 90 days economic problems will arise, and McCain stock will go down.
just like any race, or game.. just stay in it and steal it at the end.

On Ron Paul website i dont want to see .. "Now there is three"
I want to see the question with the three of them.. "Who will be last man standing" =]

McCain will be talked about as the front runner.

Paul can maybe wrack up some delegates as the only alternative to McCain.

Who knows.

People seem to be clueless. This pretty much ends our campaign. We were hoping for a brokered convention. That's not going to happen now.

I think even if Huck dropped, headline news will be: McCain is only R left running, sweeps nomination.

All the news today would help Paul... if there wasn't a BLACKOUT on him. People would seriously consider him, but people STILL don't know he exists because of the blackout, and poor national campaign management (not the grassroots). So, It's McCain in a land slide. And probably whatever democrat will beat him in the general election...

I don't think it's over. Paul needs to attack now, especially on the issue of the economy. I also think he should clarify that he is against terrorism, but has a better way to deal with it than McCain. Then some lightbulbs might go off.

Now is the time to max your donation to Dr. Paul! He will need the money to keep competing in the race!

Far from over - in fact - NOW it's starting ;)

I bet my freedom on this being arranged!

Romney is an insider. He is the black-ops man (intelligence services, private enterprises, etc).

He has a huge ego. He has spent millions of his own money.

He doesn't just drop out.

McCain probably made a deal with him. For example the VP position.

Given how influential the VP has been under Bush, and given that McCain has one foot in the grave - this is actually a safe deal for him. Together they stand a better chance of beating Paul and Huck. McCain and Romney are both liberal republicans and lobbyist/government/power elite puppets, so no big leap there.

This is bad in that it reduces chances of brokered convention. Hence reducing our chances to attain delegates.

It is good in that it is even harder for the MSM to ignore RP now. They will of course launch much attention to RP as soon as McCain is on the safe side - but now they may have to give more attention to RP, if nothing else than as proxy to the Huckster in opposition attention.

It is also good in that it will be easier for RP to win entire states (which in itself forces attention). Now, if RP eventually go third party after the convention, all thie coming attention will be gold.

And the fact that RP refuses to confirm or deny his potential 3rd party shot is a stroke of genius. Everyone - even the retard MSM - KNOWS that it will severely undermine McCain should he go 3rd. So, the more certain McCain is as canditate THE MORE ATTENTION WILL BE GIVEN RP AND HIS POTENTIAL INDEPENDENT RUN. You have noticed how much speculation have been about this already. EVERY time the MSM interviews RP they ask about this and his money raising. Yesterday Cavuto on fox mentioned it again. Im telling you, its just starting.

RP is a genius because he knows this will increase attention about him and his race. And it would be stupid to deny or confirm, because that would release the tension of the speculations and uncertainties. He needs to go with his poker face all the way into the convention, even should Huckster drop out and start kissing McCains old ass.

So it is far from over. If the MSM increase his attention regarding speculations about 3rd party run, it will actually strengthen the very opportunity to do so, making it even harder for them to ignore him if and when that actually will happen.

It's all still exciting.

and now is the time for a flurry of press releases and appearances from Paul.. Paul needs to be on the morning TV shows, the local news in Kansas, etc...
(crickets chirping)

Watch the press releases fly from the Huckabee campaign HQ, and he'll be on Good Morning America or some other national morning show tomorrow.

Mike HUCKABEE: Silver-Tongued Pandering, Plagiaristic, Preacher, deal with the DEVIL

People seem to be clueless. This pretty much ends our campaign. We were hoping for a brokered convention. That's not going to happen now.

Behind Closed DOORS, that's where the deals are made. HUCKABEE will never Drop out! That Silver-Tongued Pandering, Plagiaristic, Preacher, would sign a DEAL with the DEVIL, before giving up on the GOP nomination.

I'm wondering what MITT gets out of this?

VP?
Senior STAFF position to solidify his federal level experience for the next round?
MONEY?
Business Deals?
Corporate/Board Appointments?

It will be interesting down the road to see exactly where MITT lands. Of Course the DUMBED MORONIC PUBLIC SHEEPLE with an attention span of a rock, won't be able to follow the trail/deal scheming.

You know the GOP/Corporations/PACS/etc are grooming him for the NEXT GOP Candidacy PRESIDENCY too.

.

Probably VP. But it is very satisfying to think how worried McCains bitch is now (The Ghoul) - given that he hoped for VP in return for his ass-kissing.

No huckabee needs to stay in the race

here's why...

Today Romney really showed how smart he is, if you think this suspension means he's not still hoping for the nomination your quite wrong, if that were the case he would of dropped out. Him to campaign normally would've sealed the deal for Mccain as Huckabee and Romney would continue to split the anti-mccain vote. With Romney moving to the sidelines it gives Huckabee the boost he needs to win over Mccain in most of the remaining states causing a brokered convention, in which Romney will still technically be in contention. This is a very clever play, cause if Huckabee won every remaining state he could not hit 1191 delegates, and this is what Romney is banking on cause like he said "I don't like to lose".

This benefits the Ron Paul campaign in many ways.

- Gives us free reign in the remaining caucus states, and also will give us some room to pull off extra delegates in the state conventions of the previous caucus states.

- less media clutter between the three "remaining candidates"

This totally changes the dynamics of the entire race.

The harsh reality is that the Iraq War is flat out non-negotiable with most registered Republicans. They're not going to cross over and nominate a "surrender monkey" (their term- not mine)... not in 2008 at least. Dr. Paul has eloquently made the case on numerous occasions about why the war: (1) was a betrayal of conservative Republican prinicples going back to Taft- and even the Founders; (2) has weakened our national security by stretching our military too thin; and (3) could turn into a fatal threat to our financial standing and overall economy. Unfortunately, the average Republican can't process it- OR, and perhaps more likely, is in TOTAL denial about all of it. I'm only 31, but this seems to be Vietnam all over again- where the Democrats thought they were heading in with valid moral justification (i.e. protect Southeast Asia from Communism) and couldn't bring themselves to "give up the dream" when it all went to sh1t.

So when we talk about trying to "convert" some of these people... we must understand, first of all, that they're delusional...

RUDY Giuliani just got SPANKED real BAD by McCain!

Probably VP. But it is very satisfying to think how worried McCains bitch is now (The Ghoul) - given that he hoped for VP in return for his ass-kissing.

YES INDEED!

RUDY Giuliani just got SPANKED real BAD by McCain! The ghoul should know better you're only an asset as far as you are effective. USED, and now, ABUSED! Just shows you the SLEAZINESS of the SCUM behind the scenes, pulling the strings and playing the cards!

GIULIANI was played like a GRAND PIANO! But I'm sure he'll get a PRIMO position, if the "WAR MONGER TEAM" makes it that far.

Huck needs to stay in!

We also need to have a debate with just the three remaining candidates. It'll be harder to ignore RP.

People seem to be clueless. This pretty much ends our campaign. We were hoping for a brokered convention. That's not going to happen now.

I agree with this. Anyone thinking Huckabee will drop out is clueless to the fact that if he does, it means he and McCain have made a deal. Other than that, he really has no incentive to drop out!

If they make a deal, it's over anyways!

Superb analysis, read that again guys.

Add to this Hillary squeaking in on Super Delegates, we'll get a flood of Obama's on our side.

Go McCain! Go Hillary!

I am so sick of people saying Huckabee will drop out!

He's probaby fantasizing right now about being president.

Why the hell would he drop out now when he could win?
